I have relatives that live in areas of extreme weather. I thought that this would be a good gift for them in case they can't get to a T.V. or other device such as a cell phone to alert them of bad weather as in hurricanes,tornadoes, and blizzards. We (my mother and I)sleep a little easier at night knowing that they have something to alert them in case of emergency.
