The charger did not work; I have returned it and am waiting for refund. Will comment again once I see if company honors refund.

I ordered a 3G car charger for Iphone and got a charger that connects but is not compatible with my 3G S. My 3G S is a 3G phone but the screen reads that it is an incompatible devise.

The charger will not work if your I-Phone is in an "Otter Box" protective case. You must remove the I-Phone from the case before you can insert the charger into the phone. I do not know if it will work with other type cases.
