Everything seems to work great with my new Sansa clip so far. The speaker, though smaller than I thought it would be, works and sounds great. I didn't realize the speaker needed USB in order to work since I purchased the set for someone without access to a computer. I haven't tried the other cables, etc. but so far so good.

I have a 16gb iPod touch, have just been putting it on a test run through the days before i fly out to hawaii in 2 weeks, it seems to work really well and really fast, keeps me entertained for hours on end, amazing product. First of all, *DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT HERE ON AMAZON*

I love Amazon, but for this particular charger, Buy has it on sale for around $6 with free shipping. I got two of these babies just in case one goes out.

It works with the iPhone 3G. I had to switch the selector to the level left of the 30GB mark to get the iPhone 3G to charge. I'm sure it would work for my 5th Gen 30GB iPod with no problem. Capacity-wise, I'm not sure how much juice the provided pair of batteries would give to the iPhone. I'll drain out my iPhone next and see.

The connector is a bit flimsy so be careful when you have the iPhone/iPod plugged in. Snapping off the $300 gadget while charging on a $6 device is not a fun thing to do. Also, since the connector isn't very steady if you wiggle the iPhone, watching movies or playing games will be an issues. Looks like the Kensinton charger (the one that is a break-out box with a connector cable) has a better designed in this regard, however, it's $40 compared to $6.

Now I'm resuming my quest of buying some good rechargeable batteries to prepare for my 22-hour international flight coming up this summer. Oh the joy of having 30GB of music all the time :)

Bought this product for a long road trip from Minnesota to New Orleans, tested it on my ipod before use, and now I have no working ipod. I called Energizer to complain about their product, they sent me a mailing slip to have the charger and the ipod sent to them, on their dollar. Radio Shack Pro 97 Triple-Trunking Handheld Scanner

I've owned this scanner for a little while now. I love the alpha-numeric labeling system, lets me know what agency I'm listening to.

I live in an area where I can listen to 5+ agencies so this is very helpful. The bank system also works quite well for turning off things I don't want to listen to at any particulat time. (Usually have police, ambulance, air, fire, and others in separate banks).

I've been very happy with my purchase.

I wouldn't have looked this product up after many years of owning it, and signed in and gone through the trouble of reviewing it, if it didn't deserve a five star review. I've recently bought another radio, an actual NAV/COM trans-receiver for real world aviation use, and I still always keep my PRO-97 close by, because of it's amazing quality and list of features. It's never once had a problem after a good 5(ish?) years of owning it. There may be newer versions of it, I'm not sure, because I've owned the PRO-97 for a few years now. Anyway, the speaker volume can be VERY loud, in fact you'll probably startle yourself the first time you turn it on. It can be loud enough to take to airshows, turn up, and set close by so myself and the majority of people around me can hear it over passing aircraft. It also has a 3.5mm (standard) headphone jack on the top of it. It has an amazing 1000 channels you can program frequencies into...which is probably 900 more than I ever use. Takes four AA batteries in a convenient little double sided pack. I think in my 5 years of ownership, I've only replaced the batteries about twice. I've even fallen asleep with it on during power outages a few times. It has an AC jack on the side that somehow seems to juice up the batteries even though they're non rechargeable... The construction is very solid. It's durable enough for someone clumsy like me. It's mainly a high quality plastic, no metal, so it's extremely light weight. High quality metal attachment for the antenna, it's not gonna break off, ever. It can scan up and down, through the frequencies. You can set priorities, so if an important frequency comes alive, it will immediately switch to it. It has a quick NOAA button that gets you on the nearest NOAA frequency in 1 button press with no need to program/save/tune any frequencies for it.

If I had to say anything bad about this product, it would be the squelch volume while in scan mode. If you're in scan mode, and you have the squelch too low, the radio will blank out at a frequency of 000.00 and give off an extremely loud hiss, rather than stopping at the frequency it's scanning over. I'd also like to see a tune dial. The only real way to tune a frequency (that I know of) is to punch in the frequency manually, rather than just stepping up a few khz with a knob. There may be a way to do this, but it still isn't on it's own dial/button, which isn't that big of a complaint and not worth taking a star off.

All in all, it's simply the best scanner that you can get for both experienced AND new users. It's easy to learn the basics of just picking it up and setting a frequency. A simple scan button that'll just scan through until it finds an active frequency (which can be annoying when there's constant buzzing repeaters in your area that isn't technically talking, but is still an actively transmitting radio the scanner will indeed stop on). It has all kinds of advanced trunking functions and bank settings, if you're an advanced user. Nice sized lettering on the display. It's a good tool, and worth the money. I chose not to rate it for "ease of use", because it honestly depends on your level of experience with scanners. If you've never used a scanner before, it'll take a little reading to learn how to program it. It was my first scanner, however I am a pilot and I do know a thing or two about VHF AM and FM, yet simple things like saving a new frequency took about 5 minutes to learn. Remember it's a VHF radio, and VHF signals can't travel through simply anything. If you have a hard time listening to the radio (music) in your house, odds are you have thick walls, and may need to take your scanner outside to pick up distant/low altitude signals. You may find you can easily hear aircraft in the sky, but have a hard time hearing the traffic controller on the ground if there's many obstacles between you and him. It all depends on your location relative to the source, especially distance and elevation. For example, I can hear police chatter easily in my own home, but I need to step outside to hear the ATIS at the airport a few cities south of me, despite being 200 feet higher in elevation.

Tip Holding your scanner improves it's reception, but ONLY if you hold it around the main scanner itself. You may think touching the antenna improves reception, like the radio in your home, but it won't work well. Grip it around the screen level area if you're having a hard time. Touching the antenna seems to draw energy from it. Also, if you're in a vehicle, touch the top of your antenna to a metal surface *near the roof* of the car. You'll be able to use the car's very powerful radio antenna and surface area to dramatically improve range. :-)

Make sure you set some time aside and go over the instructions thoroughly, it's worth it. The unit is actually easy to use but the instructions (well written) must be read first. Reception is great.

Can program 1000 channels, easily access frequencies, can block out frequencies when scanning, and lots more. I primarily use it for railfanning and am happy with it.

Remember....read the instructions...read the instructions...read the instructions. (They can be easily found online if you want. I bought a used unit that had the instructions on DVD. It was easier to go to the internet and download it. Just use Google search.)

I got this product so my wife could play her Ipod in her car. I was extremely skeptical that it would work "auto sound" retailers had generally bad mouthed this type of product. And, i had tried something like this years ago, when the first generation of Ipods came out. But the alternative for my wife's car (Boxster) was to put in a new and different radio more than $800 in this case! I saw that there were some used/reconditioned versions of the product available on Amazon, and decided to try it.

IT WORKS PERFECTLY. My wife loves it. Ok, so you have some loose wires in the front seat, but my concerns about static and losing the station, blah, blah, have not surfaced. And, it is great that you can program up to 3 empty stations on your FM radio, just in case you travel through an area where the radio loses the signal you're using. I just bought one of these for a car trip, and it turned out to be worthless. I got it to "work", if you can call it that, but only for about 5 minutes. The rest of the time, you couldn't hear it at all. I tried moving the transmitter around, changing the station, the broadcast power is just too weak.

At best there is a light to medium background static. Within a 60 mile drive I usually have to change stations 2 or 3 times to find a better signal. The rest of the time static is so bad I just turn it off. On a rare occasion I can get a decent signal and enjoy it but it never lasts long. Everything seems to interfere with it...hills, airports, military bases, even overpasses and bridges. Time to upgrade to a new stereo which I what I should have done in the first place.

I actually had an issue with my car charger not working properly. Then why am I giving them 5 stars? Because of the customer service.

My ordinary experience is that when you have a problem of this nature with a relatively inexpensive online purchase you don't receive a favorable resolution. More often than not you have to deal with emails going back and forth and the retailer stymies your efforts util you recognize it's not worth the effort. Ultimately, you end up eating the loss and go away.

That was not the case here. The retailer had a phone number that I was able to call. The best part was when I received a real person right off the bat no jerking around with phone prompts. After explaining my problem the gentleman immediately resolved my issue. This is a stand-up retailer that doesn't run and hide when there is a customer service issue. You don't find that too often today.

most of these units are the same they vary in build quality and length of cords and whether it lights up enough.

this one hasn't pooped out after a few weeks, and it has a light that comes on, but the one issue I have with it is that the plug-in part of the unit has deformed the shape of my lighter socket.

there are smaller plugs that won't do this the extra metal and plastic and size is just not necessary -

it's typically a lack of sophistication in the build design throw a hunk of plastic and metal together and you get this if you take a little more time to specify size and not overbuild (slightly finer wiring?) you get a smaller product.

This is ok, but eventually I'll have to replace my lighter socket which I had to do before on another automobile with another car charger.

After buying several 'kiddie' sets of walkie talkies for my grandkids, I decided to buy a real set. These were inexpensive, and the other reviews looked good, so I gave it a try. The kids love them! This charger worries me because it appears to charge differently than the motorola home charger. With the motorola one, the bars on the battery icon blink progressively as they charge and it is obvious when the charge is complete.

When I plugged in this charger, the first battery bar stayed solid while the battery blinked. I had it plugged in for 2 hours like this with no indication of charge progress. When I unplugged it, all three bars were lit. (??) Kind of leads me to believe this charger is dumb and just keeps charging regardless of the level of charge.

This may be normal, and it may stop charging when complete, but I am throwing this one out and ordering the motorola. What a waste.

Well, it worked the first time I used it.

The second time I used it, I got an intermittent charge, and my phone kept beeping to let me know that it was starting/stopping charging.

After that, it charges no more.

Perhaps I got a dud, but you are probably better off buying a genuine Motorola charger instead.

I thought I had sent this review previously but do not see it posted so here we go again.

This charger worked once or twice. Then one morning I placed it into my 12 volt on my boat. The recepticle started smoking and I am probably lucky I did not start something on fire as bass boats with 30 gallons of fuel can create a serious heatwave very quickly.

In all fairness I am glad my previous review was not posted or maybe not sent properly. Because in the interim I had work done on my boat. I requested they check the 12 volt plug-in. It worked fine. So, like others have stated, this is junk. More importantly.....dangerous junk. I never critisize Amazon but in this case I have two questions.......Why is the real Motorola charger not available? And why does Amazon allow something that has such terrible reviews to continue on their website?

I really think this is a dangerous item and strongly recommend you to stay clear. I did not even bother sending it back because I certainly do not want a second one and it is more trouble than it is worth to get a 9 dollar refund. Lesson learned is all I can say.

Has enough power to drive smaller screws, but not too much like my 19.2 volt monster. This is perfect for the crafts person or small around the house projects.

I love this thing. I am not good with using a drill as a screw driver and a drill gets heavy for me for a longer project. I recently assembled a chest of drawers; it took me about eight hours and it has a LOT of screws. The battery on this little screwdriver just kept chugging along; it did not need to be recharged. It is lightweight and turns at just the right rate of speed for me. Many years ago I had the type of cordless screwdriver with a straight handle, this pistol grip is much more ergonomically sound, much easier to work with, especially for the long project I did. And I love the stay-on bit holder--bits don't get lost. This is a nice piece of equipment and worth every cent paid for it.

I reallly have not put this to the test yet. It seems slow, I hope that means more torque. My var-drill was way too fast. I like the bit holder, also the moveable grip I can see where it would be very helpful.

I disagree with reviewers who say these connectors are overpriced. They are not, for what they do. They provide a positive latching seal, and as important they seem to be completely waterproof. I imagine they could be totally immersed in water and would not leak. Both male and female connectors have a tight wide soft silicone seal at the back of the connectors. The mating side of the "positive" connector has a red O ring that seals into the "negative" connector when they are mated together. However there are no instructions, so it takes a bit of pondering to understand how they should be assembled. It is important to crimp them correctly, not so much to make a good connection (I would recommending soldering them after crimping) but so they will fit into their respective shells and allow the rear seal to be pushed in completely. After crimping and soldering be sure they are straight and the edges of the crimp do not protrude. Be sure to examine the female connector on your cable or solar panel and notice how far the metal is recessed in the shell. Yours should be about the same.

Another hint to avoid getting + and mixed up when the stripped end of your cable is connected to the controller: Remember that your female connector that you will connect to the cable or solar panel male connector with the red O ring WILL BE HOT OR + END and the stripped end should be connected to the + side of the controller. The female that you attached to your wire is +. Your connector with the Red O ring will be negative, -. Clear as mud? Re-read this as you sit at your workbench until you puzzle them out.

These connectors are very easy to put together and use. Why the 4 star....I don't believe they will acommodater any wire larger than 10 gauge, and you MUST solder the wire to the connector. No big deal, if you use a butane tourch/solder apparatus. Very happy with them myself.

I purchased these connectors for my 100 watt solar system for my camper. I used them with 12 gauge outdoor lighting cable and they worked fine. I crimped them with a cheap standard crimping tool and then soldered them.

First of all the picture of the car charger didn't match the one sent to me, which was an alltel charger for a cell phone. Second of all it didn't work for my Garmin. It was only $2.99, so what am I to expect? I did contact them to return it.

It says in the description that it's for Garmin Nuvi 200w, however, they have a cell phone in the pictures. It stated that after about 15 seconds in the data mode, it will go back to navigation mode so you can use the navigation while charging. Well, that never happened. Stayed in computer/data mode indefinitely. Tried unplugging from cigaret lighter as suggested by other reviewers, still did not work. Returned the product and got another from Ebay, that guaranteed to be manufactured to OEM standards. And it was. I got the new one, and worked perfect.

I got an Alltel charger with a right-angle USB plug and a very short body with a round top. The tip does not have the "grip ring" pictured, which means it will not stay firmly seated in the outlet. Returning!

When I got this charger, it was sold as compatible with my Garmin Nuvi. Well, its compatible,

in terms of charging it. However, you cannot use the GPS when charging, because the GPS believes

that a PC is connected to it, and is waiting for PC communication instead of just doing

the GPS task. So, this makes charging-while-using impossible.

So I bought this as a first helmet and I'm liking it. I sized my head as a large, but as a large this helmet fits pretty tight because of the padding. So I would order a size up or maybe wear it in. The paint job on it looks pretty bad ass and it doesn't looks like its going to peel off anytime soon. The only flaws with this helmet is that the visor fog up and vents don't work as well as they should. But for the money this is a great helmet.

this is a excellent product but beware, i already owned a size large helmet from hjc and it fit perfectly.

so i ordered this "VCAN" helmet also as a large and it feels like a small. i thought if i wore it for a couple weeks i could "break it in" and the only thing thats breaking feels like my forehead in the helmet (very constricting). Other then the size issue i had a great experience with the helmet and it is very stylish. I ride a honda shadow 750 with straight pipes, so i have to have the speakers at full volume for me to hear the music over the sound of the bike. phone calls are much quieter but if you can pull over and talk then it works great! its a shame i have to stick with my hjc for the long rides :/
