The Samsung HF 1000 Bluetooth car kit is so easy to set up. It came fully charged and paired with my cell phone instantly and continues to do so each time i enter my auto. Well....no, BUT, this thing has the most incredible battery life of ANY rechargeable item I've ever seen. I charge this thing only about once a month. I do turn it off most of the time I leave my car, although I do occasionally leave it powered on all night. The battery is just made to last and you'll be blown away by that feature alone. My previous Motorola BT speakerphone was on the charger 1-2 times per week.As for the speakerphone, it could be a little louder; I have to quell any ambient noises, including the AC if it's on full blast, in order to really hear people. For the most part, they seem to hear me fine very few complaints. I am using it in a minivan, so it likely works better in a smaller cabin where one might be a little closer to it. If you drive an older car with a lot of cabin noise, it might not be loud enough.
I also like that it uses a micro-USB cable for charging, since that is the most commonly used for cell phones and it means I can charge it anywhere, just like my phone. It paired easily with my old Samsung Galaxy S, and just as well with my Galaxy S II. After pairing it once, it always and immediately connects with my phone when I turn it on.
