StarLight SL 1000B Smart Light 12 volt Black Motion Light

The light works just great. It is the 2nd one I have installed on my Motorhome. They both give off plenty of light. My order arrived in 2 days, very fast. I had a question about the light and called the tech support number and they answered and helped me. Very friendly.

Excellent lights, good price. Have had these lights installed for two months and they work as advertised. Instructions are thorough, but get a little confusing when operating and adjusting the lights. I purchased two with the led bulbs and after installation had a problem with the bulb socket on one of them. Made some small adjustments to it and it works fine.

I bought two of these motion sensors. 50% success.

The Good:

It's nice when you get a working unit. The coverage is 180 degrees and the indicator lights are handy. It comes with an LED bulb that can swivel. The bulb is average and not the brightest you can buy on the market.

The How:

I installed the first one and used butyl tape for the parts that contacted the trailer wall. Then, sealed it with rv caulk.

The Bad:

To much disappointment, the first unit had a defective right side sensor. I had to completely remove it and used the 2nd unit in its place.

Now even worse, I pay $12 to return the item and have not heard from the seller SmithRV.
