BEWARE THIS PRODUCT. These are very cheap, crappy, poorly made and not made by apple. Using the cord to link to my computer was unreliable, and I consistently received a message from my computer:"the device connected to USB port is drawing too much power, the port has been de-activated." On the very first use of the outlet charger, it destroyed my Ipod shuffle. DO NOT DESTROY YOURS TOO

This product didn't work at all. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true in this case. Cheap price...cheap product. I would send it back, but I'm deployed and don't plan on spending time or money sending this garbage back.
