Naztech Reactor Retractable Micro USB Charger with USB Charging Port - BlackBerry, Cal-Comp, HTC, L

Naztech Reactor Retractable Micro USB Charger with USB Charging Port - BlackBerry, Cal-Comp, HTC, LG, Samsung, Nokia, and Sony EricssonI'm in my car quite a bit. I own a Droid Incredible and also an iPod touch. I was sitting at home a few days ago (probably months or years ago depending on when you read this) and thought came over me,"Why can't I charge both of these with my car charger?" Well, at the end of the day, I threw down my 8 bucks for this little thing. And it was worth it. With the help of the Scosche sleekSYNC Retractable USB 2.0 cable for iPod and iPhone (Black) I can successfully charge my phone and iPod while making phone calls and listening to music.

Now since it's only $8 (from $30!), it's going to get some heat. I question this little guy's power whether I have either or both plugged up for an extended time. It doesn't necessarily charge your phone only it keeps it from losing battery life, if that makes sense. I left my apartment one day with half my battery, drove 6 hours, unplugged, and it still wasn't fully charged. Same thing with the iPod. Doesn't die. Charges VERRRRY slowly. The second thing is the retractable cord. It's an awesome feature and a major selling point of this piece of equipment. You simply pull the cord, plug in your phone and push the button on top to retract when you're done. If you buy this, I caution you to be careful with that button! The cord retracts in 0.000000001 seconds (exaggeration mine) and it will give your hand a love tap or a surprise welt, whatever you call it.. Here's a simple solution: HOLD THE PLUG with your FREE hand to provide resistance. This will prevent you from hurting yourself and then blaming the cord. I hope you found this helpful...

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I bought this for my husband because he drives a lot for work and the rating seemed good enough, but this product sucks. Right away he had issues with the cord not rolling back up completely or getting stuck. Usually he could play with it a little and it would fix itself, but not even three weeks after buying it, it got stuck in the fully out position and he couldn't get it to roll back in. I contacted the seller and their return policy is only 7 DAYS!! 7! I wouldn't even be able to receive the product and ship it back in that short time span.

They were completely unwilling to assisting me with either a refund or a new charger, relying on their 7 day return policy as their excuse. OBVIOUSLY, this company expects their products to break after 7 days or they'd have a longer return policy and they'd be more willing to assist their customers. But then again, they obviously don't care about their customers.

If that wasn't bad enough, now the charger has gotten finicky and won't even charge his phone in the fully out position. Its a piece of crap, do not buy.

I like this charger because of the retractable feature, unfortunately the wire is incredibly thin as a result and is probably why the output is only 600 mA. When I'm running Google Navigation on my Galaxy Nexus, it actually drains the battery faster than this charger can charge it. For general use, it is great, but I typically use my smartphone in the car for navigation and so I ended up purchasing a more powerful Motorola charger for this purpose.

I bought this charger for two reasons, I liked that the cord retracted (no more tangles, or getting caught on stuff) and it has a USB connector, so I can charge my Phone and my MP3 Player at the same time, or my wife can charge her phone at the same time using her USB cable. The rewind spring is taught, it reels in very quickly. I would recommend this charger to anyone.

Use this on my Samsung Vibrant (Galaxy S). Charges fine, strong cord retraction. Haven't used the second USB charging port yet, but sure it might come in handy in the future.
