If the iphone 4s is turned on while charging, it says that this accessory is not supported and stops charging the phone.

The charger came in the mail as I was leaving the house and my phone was running low. I brought it with me and plugged it and charged up the phone. Why I love this product is the retractable cord. In the storage compartment of my car I have so much stuff including other products with cords and they get all tangled up. I can just throw this in the storage and never need to worry it will get tangled up with all my other junk! I was also concerned about the plug. It was fine. It has a lock that you need to pinch in order to unplug it, but it's no problem. Only gave it 4 stars because I don't know how it will hold up. The cord is quite thin but I'm optimistic it'll be okay since it's retracted most of the time.

The first charger they sent...didn't work. The lady that responded to my e-mail was very pleasant and did ship replacement, but the second charger didn't work either. I wrote and asked them for prepaid label so I could return items, or get refund. Haven't heard back from them. The item was inexpensive and I don't want to waste too much time on this...but don't recommend their inferior products.

I received the item fairly quickly from the seller. However when I opened it, it was not rubberized like the description. It was merely plastic and completely different looking than the item in the picture. On the plus side I only paid 5 bucks for it and it works.
