i still would simply prefer longer battery time, but absent that, my Samsung Epic 4G is a power hog (particularly with wifi and 4G turned on), so this battery dock with spare battery is the only practical solution. I actually have two of them to keep 2 back up batteries charging/charged.
This is a really small and slick battery charger (+ battery) for the Samsung Captivate, and even makes a desk stand for the phone if you like that sort of thing. Exceptionally handy as well, since the Captivate battery (after a few months of usage) does not seem to hold a charge from morning to night, even with light usage.
