Solar Panel Charge Controller - 5 Amp / 12 Volt

I have built a solar buggy (1974 golf cart) that has 3 15 watt panels that I am using this regulator to control one of the panels to a 12 volt battery (one of 4 in series for 48 volts). This regulator is working very well for this application and is a reasonable price compared to others.

We installed these at a junk yard with solor panels to power remote cameras where there is no power. They work great but you will need one of these per solar panel, it wouldn't power up two solar panels.

It seems to be working just fine. Built tough enough to work with and it keeps the solar cell from boiling my battery out. I use it on an electrically-controlled gate in a remote area, in the summer, I was killing my batteries with too much volts from the solar cells. So far, my batteries seem in great shape.
