This is a decent buy. The coiled cord could have been longer for use when keeping the unit charging while talking. Anyway this is a good buy.

I thought I was buying a low cost, generic charger. What I received was a genuine Samsung car charger in an AT&T retail blister pack. The charger is a lighted Samsung car plug with a USB port. The cable is removable and can be used as a data/charging cable from a computer to your phone. It works great, and does not overcharge the phone. The cable is heavy gauge with long, heavy cord reliefs to prevent breakage and shorting.

It works, charges the phone and has a working USB port for charging something else. No idea what the charging output is, and the USB port will NOT work with iPhone/iPods I tried. Similar AT&T chargers for Apple products DID charge other iPhones/iPods through the USB port. So if you want both Samsung and Apple charged at the same time, get a dual USB charger, or an AT&T Apple charger with USB port and get a Samsung USB cable (they're cheap too).

I was a little apprehensive in purchasing this car charger since many reviewers stated that the charger did not work for their phone despite the item description specifying that it would. My husband and I both have the Samsung A107 phone and we have two cars. Because of that and the very low price of less than $4 each, we bought two. I like the fact that the chargers have an indication light so you know it's charging properly. Both work great and the built-in USB port is an added bonus!
