i saw this and thought it would be great.. i could charge an extra battery and my fone at the same time and if i was on the go i could use the extra charger that came with it... well was i wrong about that,,, the extra charger that came with it did not work,the base did not charge my fone and the extra battery slot only worked for about 2 days and then stoped charging my extra battery.... on top of it all the led light thats on the unit just stays on and its bright as h.ll and it doesent tell you if its actuly doing anything.....in my words DONT BUT THIS ITEM!!!! save your money

This product did not work from day 1. I bought it as a charger and with no real need for a Data-Sync Docking Station but it will do neither. I tried to use the attached USB cable to charge my device but it would not charge it. I tried using the included cable both through the dock and directly to the my device and still no luck with either attempt to charge my device. I even tried to use a working charger that came with another Droid 3 dock I own and still nothing.

Bottom line... you get what you pay for. Spend the extra $$$ and buy something that works.

I have already requested and RMA number and a return shipping label and it will be on the return truck by morning.

I purchased this to have an additional charger in the house. I use my phone frequently and don't want to run to the other end of the house to charge it. So far no complaints cahrges pretty quick. not too big and I like that it has an slot for another battery. I do not at this time have an extra battery but am looking to purchase one in the near future.
