Didn't expect much because of the price... this product exceeded my expectations. Works really easily & very well. Best part is you can choose if you want to plug the charger in, or just have the small receiver in the "charging port". Would highly recommend

I have purchased more expensive FM transmitters before, but this one seems to work just as well and saves you money!

It works good for the price only issue is I live at a place with a lot of military. So signal gets fuzzy and you to adjust the station a lot. But even with that I would buy it again.

What do you expect for under $10? You hope it works. Under $10 and it comes with a remote? Give me a break. Actually, it works better than a $30 transmitter I have in my other car. Sound quality is excellent. A few things to note:

1. When you turn it on at first, the volume is at max. This is probably too high and will cause distortion. Tap the volume down on the remote until it's clear. As long as the unit has power it remembers the volume setting.

2. If you turn the volume all the way down you will get no sound. Well, duh, but you might not realize that's what happened. If there's no sound try increasing the volume with the remote.

3. The remote seems to be designed to work when you aim it at the iPod from above the level of the transmitter with the iPod vertical. As near as I can tell the remote beam is aimed downwards. The sensor is in the transmitter's LCD window and if you get the remote below the transmitter it may not work. It does work from a wide vertical and horizontal area *above* the transmitter.

4. As far as I can tell, the only way to adjust the volume is with the remote. The iPod's controls will work for play, skip, etc. Try not to lose the remote.

5. The unit will work without 12V power. I don't know how it would affect battery life.

6. The unit turns off automatically after about a minute when the iPod's not playing. You will then be listening to whatever is on the channel you're tuned to.

7.. You need to find an FM channel that doesn't have a strong station to get good results with an iPod transmitter. On a long trip you may have to change channels occasionally to avoid the local stations.
