I bought several of these chargers. My wife and I love them. They are solidly built and make solid contact with the sides of the car's accessory slot. Make sure that you order the MediaBridge coiled USB-A to USB Micro-B cable which is specifically made to charge with full amperage (1 amp) with devices such as Samsung. There is no need to open the charger and solder any contacts if you use the MediaBridge cable!

I used it to charge samsung s3, it worked like a charm. The charge rate was very good and impressive. I used a lot of unbranded usb car chargers, but this model is the best. Worth every penny of your money.
