Works as advertised. Was a bit disappointed in the owners manual as some key information was omitted. Had to go to Tripp Lite web site to get a full information regarding the unit. Note that this inverter like most inverters produces a modified sine wave type of electrical current. Electric motors or compressors may not work with this type of inverter. In order to get the same type of current as in your house, purchase an inverter that produces a true sine wave type of electrical current. This inverter worked great but it did not meet my needs as I wanted to run a small compressor. My compressor would not work with this inverter. I did purchase a true sine wave inverter and now it works find.

Good product, handles surges better then most in its watts class. Works best with the engine running. Load LED's is exactly what it says, just lights. Unit does not shut down when battery level reaches 10.5 like most. It will work till your battery is dead.
