I usually refrain from writing a bad review and so far amazon has given me very few reasons to do so. But this product turned out to be a very cheap quality. Just after opening the package the small gray cover on the top fell apart and I could see the LED inside. The cover was sticky on the back so tried to stick it back in place, did not work. I just put a tape around it to hold it together which not to mention looks bad. I connected to my car battery output and tried to charge the cell phone and it worked, the led inside, however, did not turn on. I chose to buy this charger because they advertised it as an OEM and verizon product, which usually tend to be robust and sturdy, but I was disappointed.
Exposed wires, a plastic piece covering the internals had melted off.
Didn't even consider plugging my phone into this.
Go retail, or elsewhere.
