Coxreels - Pc13 Series Power Cord Reels Pc Series Power Cord Reels: 170-Pc13-5012-A - power cord spring rewindreelSolid, rugged. Had a Reelcraft that wouldn't wind up the last 5-10 feet in cold weather and then at all, so I replaced it with this and am satisfied.

This was certainly industrial strength. i misread specs and had to return. Not a residential cord, unless you have a generator kicking out 220V great service however!

I purchased a few of these chargers both ac and dc for my garmin nuvi 500 because I have different vehichles I use it in. Thought they would be a good deal, NONE of the DC chargers worked, only the ac charger worked. Seller offerd to replace them if I sent them back but I didn't care to waste time on it to just receive new junk, Just purchased a couple of car chargers from Garmin, they work and feel like they are just built better.

The charger will not work if your I-Phone is in an "Otter Box" protective case. You must remove the I-Phone from the case before you can insert the charger into the phone. I do not know if it will work with other type cases.

Hunten Outdoors Small 6-Volt Mono Crystalline Solar Panel

Hunten Outdoors Small 6-Volt Mono Crystalline Solar PanelThis appears to be the same panel as the Primos, but it's a few dollars cheaper, the metal-clad cable is painted black, and it's IN STOCK. Additionally, the cable terminates in a 12v barrel plug, but also comes with as 6" pigtail with alligator clips, so you get a choice. I figured I'd have to cut off the barrel connector and solder my own alligator clips on, so this was a nice surprise.

See my photo, showing how I hooked it up in series with a Primos 6v battery and Primos camera. Mounting is unclear from the packaging, as it's got an angled bracket that gets attached to the panel. This apparently is to keep a good angle to the sun. Since I didn't want to screw it to my tree, I screwed it to a scrap (pictured, I'll paint it camo prior to next hunting season), so I could just strap it to the tree along with the camera and battery.

I don't have any data points for performance yet. It's the dead of winter here, and I've got it out in the snow. The 6v battery showed 85% on the first day, and has held steady after 5 days, "so far, so good". I will update my review with performance info, as I get more data. My plan is to have this camera up year-round.

Note that without performance data, I am comfortable with 5-star rating based on reviews of the similar Primos unit, which based on photographs, has the same panel.

Update 2/09/2012: It's been up more than 3 weeks, and the camera has taken over 150 photos, mostly at night. The battery is still showing 85% at night, 99% during bright sun. Essentially no change since when I hung it up. It's the dead of winter here, I'm very pleased with the performance.\

Update 2/18/2012: Up more than a month, nearly 400 photos, still fully charged.

Update 4/14/2012: Despite my advice posted in this review, I mistakenly bought the Primos unit when I needed another one. I have painted it black, should have sanded it first, and now the paint is flaking off! GET THIS UNIT (Hunten), it's got a good paint job, and it's a couple bucks cheaper!!

Update 12/7/2012: Nearly a year later, thousands of photos (sometimes 50/day) taken, battery still full. And it spent all summer in deep hardwoods. I had pointed the panel to the sun when I put it there in the spring, and thought I'd have to move it out of there when the foliage came. Nope. No problems. We put an 8 GB memory card in it last week, so it would click away all winter for us. Awesome buy.

The quality is great. The price is right. Wiring is shielded with black metal flexible conduit type material, aluminum I think, no need to paint or camo. Plugged right into my Wildgame Innovations camera. Now I just pull the memory card and slip in another, never have to open the battery compartment or haul or charge batteries. Streamlined my run around the woods and continues to save time each trip. Did have to supply two washers for the mount screws, no biggie.

Buy Hunten Outdoors Small 6-Volt Mono Crystalline Solar Panel Now

I received this panel quickly and as others have noted, it comes with mounting hardware and the alligator clip adapter for the cable.

Before I go any farther, let me suggest something people should do if they want this to last many years. Contrary to another review, the panel is not truly sealed. The plastic case that holds the panel has holes in it that I assume will let any water drain. However, that also will let water get in. But instead of trying to seal the case, I suggest you remove the 6 screws that hold the case together and use something to seal up all of the soldered connections on the back of the actual panel. I used some 5 minute epoxy on all of the connections, diode, etc., including sealing where the wires go into the cable shield. I'm confident there will never be any corrosion issues. I then put the case back together without using any other sealer on the case.

The mounting bracket is nice, but it can be tricky to find a way to mount it on something like a deer feeder that has tripod legs. But you can bend the bracket if necessary to get the right angle. Just don't put any undue pressure on the panel or you might break it.

A quick test shows it will output about 60ma in full sunlight. That should be more than adequate to keep a feeder or camera battery charged.

Also as noted by others, the cable is shielded which should keep any critters from eating through it.

The bottom line this is a good panel for the price. I would recommend it.

I used and tested this solar panel on 6 volt fence chargers. It proformed better than the factory replacements through a number of different conditions including Hurricane Isaac this year. Including the shipping cost these panels are cheaper in cost than those from the fence charger's manufactor. The panels are sealed at the factory and do not require addition sealing or gaskets for water tightening as the manufactor's panels. If you decide to use these panels on your fence charger, using heat shrink or liquid sealant to ensure water tight connections.

Powerful Samsung Focus Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Gomadic Brand Battery Pack - High Capacity Port

Powerful Samsung Focus Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Gomadic Brand Battery Pack - High Capacity Portable Charger with upgradeable TipExchange TechnologyWorks well. Wife and I went on a camping trip and I wanted to make sure I had enough juice for my new Samsung Focus phone. Battery indicator went down to about 1/8 on the phone and the Gomadic charged it up fine. There are four indicator lights on the Gomadic indicating how much juice it has left and after charging the Samsung with about 1/8 left, the Gomadic still had two lights, so I could have gotten more juice if I had needed it. As a plus, the Gomadic has a LCD flashlight. It also allows you to pull out cable and have it fixed in place so you have some slack to use the device while it's being charged. Push a button and the extra cable is pulled right back into the device. Only downside for me was that I was hoping I could have charged it from a wall outlet, but it only gives you the option to charge the Gomadic from a USB connection. Maybe there's an adapter so I can charge from the wall if needed? Anyway, overall I'm pleased with it. Going to keep it in my backpack with me as a backup.

eForCity Retractable Micro USB Car Charger Compatible with HTC Droid Incredible

eForCity Retractable Micro USB Car Charger Compatible with HTC Droid IncredibleI'm actually using this for my HTC Aria (AT&T) not the Incredible. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I like that it retracts, though as some other reviewers mentioned, the cord is relatively thin. This has not posed a problem for me, it just makes me want to be a little more careful with it than some other bulkier models. No complaints here.

I love the retractable cord! No more having to worry about a cord getting tangled up in my glove box! Compact to take on trips too!

They both work great, but the charging wire is small, so just to be safe, make sure you are gentle with it and it will always work for you. My other retractable charger is over 2 years old and still going strong. No complaints!

TomTom GO 920T Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator with Traffic Receiver

TomTom GO 920T Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator with Traffic Receiver
  • TomTom is the world's largest provider of portable navigation solutions
  • 4 Gb Internal Flash, 4.3 inch color LCD
  • Pre-loaded maps of USA, Canada & Europe from TeleAtlas
  • Bluetooth for Hands-Free calling, PLUS services and audio output
  • Rechargeable internal 5 hour Lithium Polymer battery

I purchased this over two weeks ago at Best Buy, here in Los Angeles for $599.99! Yes folks, thanks to Best Buy's notorious price difference on the web and in their infamous intranet, I made them honor what I saw at home on my computer! And yes, this was for the TomTom 920T!

It is slimmer, lighter, nicer and loaded with more features than any other portable GPS device in the market! Functions within the TomTom 920T are very similar to other models. I upgraded from the 910 and did notice some very good changes in its software, and in its ability to do a bit more configuration than on the TomTom 910.

One of the things that I like the most, aside from its new redesigned shape was its ability to search for different POI's (Points Of Interest) with better matching results while at the same time providing you a lot of additional information, such as distance, physical address, map overview, phone number (if available) and yes, the ability to dial it directly.

By the way, this is something that Garmin GPS devices have always been able to do, including searching restaurants by food type, e.g. Italian, Mexican, Chinese, etc. With the exception of this last search feature, I do believe that the new TomTom takes it one step further, which is good.

This upgraded feature is very important, because as most TomTom users know, previous versions of TomTom POI search, would just result in a long list of POI's matching what ever you input and nothing more. For example, if you typed Best Buy, you would get a list of all Best Buy stores in the county, but without any distance information, map preview, address or phone number!

This would obviously force you to route each resulting POI one by one, until you finally obtained the one that you really wanted, which was a waste of time! Well, not any more and I am very glad that TomTom made this very necessary upgrade!

Here is a list of things that I noticed:

The light sensor gone from the top and now sitting very discreetly in the front.

The remote control has been improved and is now Bluetooth.

It seems to me that it is somewhat faster in performing any commands faster than its predecessor.

Accepting spoken directions is a plus and has worked well for me so far, no complaints.

The screen is huge and seems to have been improved, because I now can see everything much better than on the previous model in bright sunny days.

The speaker sounds fragile with the default voice, compared to the 910, but sounds much better with a human voice and the music sounds great!

You can now hear all instructions through your car speakers by tuning it to an empty radio station. I tried it, but did not like it at all, too much static and sound is extremely low, could be because I live in downtown Los Angeles.

The included RF transmitter is a winner, it is very accurate in obtaining traffic data and I notice that it does so upon turning it on and it updates itself periodically as I am driving. However, it would have been better if they would have built it into the unit in order to avoid another wire from hanging from the unit.

Phone integration is great and fast, the sound quality is very good and I have been told by people who I call that it sounds very good. I make and receive between 200 to 300 calls a day, so this is a plus! Unfortunately, it does not sync well with my Palm Treo 750, so I miss out on many other TomTom extra features that requre my cell phone in order to be able to obtain data, such as weather information, map downloads, gas prices, etc.

I also do notice that its ability not to lose signal is improved, which is good, since as I have already mentioned, I live in downtown LA.

The included software is also great and much better than previous versions of TomTom Home.

What's in the box? The TomTom 910, the RF transmitter, car charger, windshield cradle, desktop cradle, remote control, software and manuals.

All in all it is a great GPS unit, very nicely and intelligently designed and the only reason I do not give it a 5 is because of the use of an external RF transmitter, instead of a built in one and lack of important travelling tools, such as those found in several of the Garmin units.

I feel that TomTom, given their current market share and being so strong in Europe should include different measurement and currency conversion tools, as well as a different language translator and a virtual tour guide program similar to those found in several of the Garmin units.

This thing fits in the pocket of your shirt! If I were sightseeing in France, I would want to have access to these types of tools!

However, to be fair, the new TomTom 920T does include a several great features not found in other units, specifically the Help Me feature which, will assist you in many emergencies such as in letting you know where you are, instruct you where to walk to your closest emergency assistance point or even guide you in applying first aid!

I highly recommended to anyone and I do hope that TomTom will improve their already magnificent product with the suggestions that I have made, maybe one day TomTom will team up with Google and provide similar information as MSN does for the Garmin NUVI.

Buy TomTom GO 920T Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator with Traffic Receiver Now

I had researched for a long time before I choose to go with the TomTom 920T. I wanted it because it had all the extras that I like and might use. Sure Garmin had some extras but for the money I thought this was the best.

Now after having it for awhile I am pleased to say that it is a great GPS. It has some features that were never mentioned that I was worried it wouldn't have like the ability to save your current GPS position so you can come back to it later. Also it has the ability to enter in actual coordinates incase you ever want to go Geo caching. I love the Traffic feature although in a lot of cases traffic is unavoidable but at least this way you know what to expect.

Two things it lacks that are small that I wish it had. In order to cancel a route I think it is lame that you have to move through a couple screens just to cancel your route you would think it would be up in the front of the controls. And I wish it had a base that was mounted in your car that it clipped into rather than pulling the wires off each and every time you take it in and out of the car. Why not leave them hooked to a base that the GPS plugs into like Magellan.

The traffic antenna sticks to the windshield I thought it would be more annoying but it isn't bad if you have the TMC.

For the most part I love it. I love how you can record you own voices which I did of my kids and their cute voices give me seamless directions to where ever I want. You can download a lot of voices off the internet for free at some sites. The GPS connection is amazing I can even track them in my house as long as I am in site of a window no matter if I can see the sky or not.

I love the voice ability to speak the address you are going to. However if you're going to make a GPS were you can speak the address make is so I can say ok or route at the end rather than tap the ok button. I mean why go through that whole process and make me hit one button at the end. Other than that it picks up my voice and is more accurate than I ever would have expected.

It has a thousand more features that I was not expecting that are pluses that I never thought it would have but the list is too long to name.

If you have the means I would pick one up.

EDIT #2:

I won't alter the original review below. But I want to put a final summary at the beginning:

Get a Garmin and save yourself a lot of headache and frustration and awful user interface. Get a Garmin if you like knowing which side of the road your destination is, and getting really good POIs, and better customer service, better everything really.

I will never get another TomTom again. I can't change the number of stars now, If I could, I'd give this a 1 now. I've never reset anything so many times to get it working.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

I used to have a Garmin Nuvi 350 (older and cheaper) which got lost so I bought this figuring both TomToms and Garmins would be good choices and this was a good chance to try the other company! (I can't help compare this to my old Garmin because that was my first GPS unit and I liked it).

Observations in no particular order:

-You can only save 48 favorite locations (I have no idea why). If you have too many favorites, you can save them as POIs but then when you want to navigate to these points, you have to pick the state and city first and then the POI instead of just a favorite. (You can create your own POI category and call it "friends" and put favorites in it but it's more work)

-I really like that I can set it to ask me if I want to take the fastest or shortest route every time I put a route in. This is really nice if something is near and you don't want it to tell you to go to major roads to get there. This option was buried in the Garmin and was aa pain to get to every time.

-I really like the avoid the toll roads feature

-The Mac support isn't as good. I have a Mac and the software is up to version 1.6 on the Mac and 2.1 on Windows. I had to find a Windows machine to be able to set a password on it. I realize the Mac version is on it's way but it's just unprofessional of them to say it works with Mac when it's not as good.

-I like the Garmin better for finding gas stations while you're on the road. The Garmin would show you the list and point an arrow which direction it's at and how far. The TomTom is a bit strange.

-It finds satellites really, really fast, and if they are lost it estimates where you are based on your speed.

-The POIs are also strange. I won't say which is better but both units found POIs the other didn't. The Garmin was better organized.

-It works well with my phone and iPod and FM transmits to my car all at the same time.

-It has light and sound sensors and adjusts itself accordingly.

-The SD card slot is sealed up with a "No SD required" sticker.

-The display is very nice.

-Maps update incrementally when you connect it to a computer.

-If you use the provided antenna for traffic, it's free (I'm not sure if that's true with Garmins, I really don't know for sure, I just got that impression from the Garmin specs).

-It feels well built.

-It doesn't have an accessory that just sits on the dashboard, all the mounts are suction or adhesive.

-Garmin's user interface is better. This isn't bad though.

-Having to reroute because of an obstacle or finding alternat routes is better on the TomTom though.

THE REMOTE: I did a number on the remote trying to open it to put the batteries in. Push the little tab FORWARD (toward the front), then INWARD (toward the face of the remote). The tab is part of the face of the remote so pushing it in will push out the faceplate. Because of the lack of careful instructions and my anger and frustration I really marred the tab.

This would be perfect if it had WiFi buit in so it didn't depend on a specific computer platform or having data plans with cell phone providers to update maps. Or if it could pair with a computer via bluetooth since it's in there already. With such a big price tag they should have either had more than 4 GB of memory that's already almost full out of the box or kept the SD card slot for more memory (as the other reviewer was saying about voice recognition in different areas).

I like it, and I'm glad I got it, but if I had to buy another GPS (which I hope isn't anytime soon!) I would get a Garmin instead.

EDIT:

I had to go to go to Chicago and downtown Detroit (I've never been to either city before).

-I'm convinced it tried to kill me in Detroit. I'd get on a freeway from the left and immediately it wanted me to take the exit on the right 3 lanes across...

-It doesn't tell you whether you destination is on the left or right. So I'm in the middle of the city and it tells me I've arrived and I have no idea which lane I should have been in or which way I should go. I really missed my old Garmin in this regard.

-Avoiding Toll roads worked like a charm.

-The same port is used for the iPod and the traffic antenna. I couldn't use both at the same time.

-The iPod volume is a lot lower than the instructions to the point where if I want to listen the iPod at a hearing level, I get blasted with instructions because it's SO much louder. I can't seem to control it.

-There is no way to get the destination address from the unit. I had my friend's address in there as a favorite. It told me I was there but it wasn't exactly right (which is ok, no GPS is exactly right) but I didn't have the address handy and it wouldn't show me the address. So I was parked on the street trying to find my friend's address on my laptop instead. (Again Garmins do better in this regard).

The new mac software (v2) has been released but it still would not back up the unit because of some error so I manually copied the content to my computer (I hope this is a good way to be able to restore it if something happens). I still can't operate it from the mac to change the password for example.

I have since learned that password protecting the unit is useless since a thief can just replace the files on it and doesn't need to know the password.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Want TomTom GO 920T Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator with Traffic Receiver Discount?

This is my first TomTom and but not my first GPS units.

I asked for and received this as a Christmas present but I found many things I didn't like about it in the first few days and have since returned the unit for the following reason.

1) I really wanted the remote control that came with this unit. I have one on my old Garmin 2610 and use it all the time. The TomTom 920T remote will not allow you to pan the map. It's very limited in what it can do.

2) I wanted voice control but this unit still requires you to hit buttons after giving a voice command.

3) I wanted to try real traffic updates but the traffic recieve antenna is a 5 foot long black wire that I would have had to drape across my dash.

4) The POI features are both limited and just plain wrong in many case. If I search for a beach I got towns with the word beach in their names and I couldn't even search for restaurant by type of food like I could with my old Garmin.

5) For three days I was unable to access TomTom support either by phone or the automated web support. (I know it was just after Christmas but Garmins support site was running fine)

6) My last big issue is that it can just route poor. I tried all the settings and it still sent me the wrong way (and no it's not just my opinion, some, not all, routes were stupid). I had no confidence in the unit to send somewhere when I didn't know where I was going.

The unit did look good and was very "customizable". It could get you where you are going but not the always by the best route. I was hoping that I could download TomToms latest software at the TomTom site but after three days of their support site being down I choose to return the system.

Save 40% Off

PRO: The unit navigates well and find the satellites quicker then competition.

smoother refresh then competition and I like the graphics.

The unit feels well built

CONS: I purchased my unit from the US but TOMTOM is misleading on there advertisements that do not disclose everything. I assumed my unit will work in Europe just as in the US. Well that is not the case.

1) Voice address input: If you purchased your unit in the US, the voice input only works in the North America maps. Your unit will not have the voice address input capabilities for the Europe map. I contacted support and they said that I need to delete the North America map voice address input files and install the Europe voice input files. I asked why not both are on there? Well I came to find out that the internal 4Gig flash card is not enough to hold both. So you have to do this fix manually each time you change maps between Europe or North America. Delete a set of files and replace with the other set and vice-versa each time you travel between Europe or North America.

2) Since my unit is purchased in the US, the Traffic cable (RDS-TMC) only works in the US and not in Europe. I have to purchase another Traffic cable (RDS-RMC) for Europe.

None of this is disclosed and I believe these are a combination of false advertisement on the box for item 1 and 2...and a design software flaw for item 1 above.

3) Competition build-in speaker sound quality is much better then the 920T

In the US, this opens the company to potential lawsuits. Hopefully TOMTOM will do the right thing to correct the information on the boxes and website and offer the current owners some kind of compensation since the unit does not do everything it says it does.

Premium Rapid Car Charger (CLA) for Samsung Rugby II A847

Premium Rapid Car Charger for Samsung Rugby II A847The charger died after just a few days. It's your typical "wiggle the wire and sometimes it charges for a moment" kind of quality. It's not worth the postage to send back (aka: item is a guaranteed keeper by the customer).

This was ordered to replace the one my wife used in her car. She had ripped the wire out of the male plug by pulling it out by pulling on the wire. I tore her up about damaging the old one. I bet it wont happen to this one. Product seems to be made well and should last longer.

Schumacher PSJ-2212 DSR ProSeries 2200 Peak Amps Jump Starter and Portable Power Unit

Schumacher PSJ-2212 DSR ProSeries 2200 Peak Amps Jump Starter and Portable Power UnitBest in class--had a couple cars with shorts that needed lots of jumps and went through three other brands. Every one under $100 could not last or keep a charge long enough to work on demand.

The 2212 instantly started a dead battery on cold mornings. The 3 amp charger is much faster than cheapo models.

Basically it is a durable solid unit. You'll need to spend over $200 for a better jump starter. The long cables let me solidly place it while jumping, unlike the other boxes that barely reached.

Buy it & you will love the security of genuinely professional grade peace of mind.

Ill give you the good news first. This item will spin my 4.3 liter high-compression V8 like there's no tomorrow, and it will do it at least 5 times on one charge. It will hold a fresh charge for three months. It has a huge red digital readout that serves several purposes. It will let you know when you have a good connection to a car battery before you switch it on. It will let you know how much voltage it is providing, and it will tell you the charge state of its internal battery when it is in charge mode. There is also a warning if you cross up your leads. There is a cigarette lighter socket for 12V access.

Now for the bad news. First, you have to provide an extension cord, and, when you do, there's no place to store one of any length on the device. My advice is to buy the shortest single-socket 16AWG cord you can, and squeeze it onto one of the side hooks where the leads are stored. Otherwise expect to just leave the cord behind (probably the manufacturer's intent) or carry it separately. Second, while you can leave the charger plugged in full time without overcharging, there is a noisy fan that runs full time (and draws about 6 watts along with the display). Even if you charge it in your garage, you probably won't want to just plug it in and forget it for two years, because that fan will wear out sooner or later. At least it sounds like it will. (I wish they'd used a quieter fan of the type that comes on desktop computers.) Don't plan to store it in an unheated area in winter, because performance will suffer severely, although a sealed garage is probably warm enough in most climates. Finally, you can't use this thing as a charger to maintain a car's battery in the garage. It's not designed for that and won't allow it.

I'd like to make a couple of final points about battery-powered, jump-start devices in general. If your car's battery has failed catastrophically, meaning it's almost like a short circuit, you must disconnect one lead of the battery before using one of these. (Assuming your alternator is good, you can reconnect the battery once the car is running.) Otherwise, the bad battery will suck the charge out of the jump-starter. You may have encountered such situations with jumper cables, when you find you have to partially recharge the dead battery with a running car's alternator before you can start the car. This is the kind of thing that happens when you leave the lights on for a long time. It should not be the kind of thing that happens when you have tried to start the car and heard a clicking noise.

If your car's battery is dead because you've run it down while trying to start the car, you'll probably run the jump-starter down too. In fact, it will probably run down faster than your car's battery did, just because it's not as big. Don't blame the jump starter for either of these situations.

This jump-started does what it's supposed to do, and it is a good price. If you can live with the cord and the fan, and you don't ask it to perform miracles, you'll be happy with your purchase.

If you buy this product, watch out for one very strange quirk: No matter how fully charged the battery is, the digital readout will ALWAYS say it is 10% charged when you plug it into a charger. The readout will slowly creep up towards 100% over a few hours. But this readout is false: It has no connection to the actual charge on the battery. To determine the actual charge on the battery, press the "%" button on the unit and it will tell you the actual percentage the item is charged.

The Schumacher customer service department doesn't know that this is how the product works, and they will tell you that the unit is broken if you ask about it. You'll then have to pay $35 to ship the unit back to them to get a new one (it's very heavy), and it will take several weeks, and the new one will seem broken, too. But it's not: It's just a strange quirk of the way these machines are designed. Trust me: This happened to me twice before I figured it out on my own.

UPDATE: I have changed my rating of this item from three stars to one star because after having the unit replaced twice for the reason above, the third unit I received just totally stopped working within about two months of it being sent to me. This time, the unit was really dead: It takes no charge no matter how long it is plugged in, and gives zero read out. Ironically, I couldn't get a replacement unit because the new replacement was no longer under warrantee: The clock on the one-year warrantee started ticking when I received the first unit, and it was just about elapsed when I received the third one. So I ended up spending a year dealing with the service department to "fix" units that weren't broken, and then at the end I received a unit that stopped working after about 2 months. I guess it just wan't meant to be. I hope others are luckier with this product than I was!

I am on my fourth jumpstarer and after all the previous junk this is a keeper. At 22 ah it delivers enough cranking power for must vehicles, in a nutshell it is a self contained unit with trickle charger and voltmeter, the fan that cools the charger is a little bit loud and never shuts down even after full charge is reached don't know why. Finally I own a REAL jumpstarter.

This box sells for $300+ on the tool trucks, and is a professional class jump starter. You can crank a turbo diesel that has two batteries with this bad boy and not even make it sweat. Im giving it 5 stars even though you will have to buy an extension cord to charge it(because the jumper does not come with one). Any one in the automotive industry needs one of these in their shop.

Bare-Tool Milwaukee 0799-20 V28 28-Volt Lithium-Ion 7/16-Inch Cordless Impact Wrench (Tool Only, N

Bare-Tool Milwaukee 0799-20 V28 28-Volt Lithium-Ion 7/16-Inch Cordless Impact WrenchThis is super heavy duty. It has more power than coorded versions.. I think because the technology is modern, it's machined with greater precision. It is quite heavy, heavier than a coorded tool.

This can take off lug nuts of semi-trucks.

Note that the chuck is a quick change hex. That means you will need an adapter to use standard sockets to remove lug nuts.

This is essentially an impact wrench that has been re-tooled for self feed bit and auger bit drilling into things like telephone poles, railroad ties, and walls of buildings. With a normal drill, when a large bit like that gets bound up, the drill will just keep turning and you can literally break your wrist. With this, the impact is absorbed by the hammer/anvil of the drill.

28v batteries last a very long time in this drill. This drill is also a heavier duty commercial grade big brother to the 18v version, it's not just the battery size that is different. The entire tool is beefed up.

It can drill massively wide and deep holes, it can remove nuts. It is heavy duty. And the battery will last forever. If you are in the market for this type of tool, then this is the one to get.

Downside.. not compatible with 18v systems.

Hope that helps!

When I originally became aware of this tool, I asked my contractor friends, what's it good for. The answer seemed to be: 'Not much.' But obviously, someone went to a lot of trouble engineering this, so probably that answer was wrong. A quick call to Milwaukee customer service helped somewhat: 'The phone company uses them with our augers to drill telephone polls.' Well, still no reason for me to own one. Then I figured it out, the standard arbors on their larger hole saws fit this thing, then with the impact drive, you can cut holes in about anything in no time at all. So I broke down and bought one. I give it four stars because customer service doesn't know what it's for.

New OEM Verizon Micro USB V9 Car Charger with USB Port for Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx

New OEM Verizon Micro USB V9 Car Charger with USB Port for Motorola Droid RAZR MaxxI usually refrain from writing a bad review and so far amazon has given me very few reasons to do so. But this product turned out to be a very cheap quality. Just after opening the package the small gray cover on the top fell apart and I could see the LED inside. The cover was sticky on the back so tried to stick it back in place, did not work. I just put a tape around it to hold it together which not to mention looks bad. I connected to my car battery output and tried to charge the cell phone and it worked, the led inside, however, did not turn on. I chose to buy this charger because they advertised it as an OEM and verizon product, which usually tend to be robust and sturdy, but I was disappointed.

This charger was a mess.

Exposed wires, a plastic piece covering the internals had melted off.

Didn't even consider plugging my phone into this.

Go retail, or elsewhere.

Samsung© Intensity II U460 Combo Rapid Car Charger + Home Wall Charger + USB Data Charge Sync Cabl

Samsung© Intensity II U460 Combo Rapid Car Charger + Home Wall Charger + USB Data Charge Sync Cable for Samsung© Intensity II U460What a great value! I got all three brand new for the price! I was so excited. I tried each one with my Samsung Intensity II and they all worked. I am just ashamed I doubted these at first before owning them. PLUS these are better made than what I got from the Verizon store! Will purchase again for sure! I will also recommend this set to anyone that has the same phone as myself.

I purchased this charger pack to supplement my new phone from Verizon Wireless. I have tried both the car and wall charger already and both worked fine to charge my phone. The connection to the phone is very good once connected but I advise to be gentle so as not to break it. Has nothing to do with this product in particular, it is just that the connection and connection port on the phone appear like they can be easily broken if the connection is forced. This has NOT happened to me, just looks like it. Anyway this is a nice charger set with both normal home and car connections which is very convenient, especially since the phone only comes with a home charger. Having an extra "home" charger I can keep at teh office ensures that I can charge at home, at work or in the car (essentially anytime). This product works and is very inexpensive, a great alternative to the official charger that you woudl get from the Verizon which I am sure would be multiples of the price. I have not had it for long so I cannot comment on the longevity of the item, but I recommend considering the much more expensive brand name alternatives. The one thing I was disappointed with was it took over two weeks to ge the item, which I thought was long. Amazons's website gives an estaimted delivery time and the item was deleivered at least a full week later than that. I was lucky I did not need it in a hurry. If you do, order early!! (5 star for product very low rating for delivery time although item received new sealed and in good working order just took too long to receive for an overall rating of 4 stars)

Retractable Car Charger For Garmin GPS Nuvi 1390T

Retractable Car Charger For Garmin GPS Nuvi 1390TI really like the retractable cable. Especially in the car where there is limited space.

I you have a Garmin you know that it takes it a minute or so to load it's maps show you the agreement.

Well, when you plug it into your computer, with a USB cable, it does a whole different thing.

When you use this power supply on your Garmin, it thinks it's connected to a computer and starts going through that and then it realizes it's not a computer and goes through it's normal setup.

It takes more than 5 minutes for your Garmin to be ready to use with this power supply.

I'm not willing to wait that long.

This would be a great charger for a Blackberry phone or some other device (that uses the same standard mini USB connection) but it's not that great for a Garmin.

RCA DRC69705 7-Inch Dual Screen Mobile DVD System

RCA DRC69705 7-Inch Dual Screen Mobile DVD System
  • Mobile seven-inch display DVD player with additional seven-inch screen
  • Use the LCD monitor with video game systems, camcorders, or other AV products
  • Built-in speakers and headphone jacks
  • Electronic skip protection for smooth playback
  • Includes two headrest mounting kits, a remote control, car power adapter, and AV power cable

This would be my second unit purchased. The first unit died shortly after 1 year with mild usage.

The other day, I went and purchased another one. It worked for less than 1 day and then no longer

reads 3 brand new DVD's. After looking at the DVD's, I recognized that each one of them is scratched

in the very same place. Thinking that the unit would work with another DVD, I (stupidly) put in

another brand new DVD. The unit started to work and then the screen froze again. I pulled out the

DVD and recognized the unit had scratched the DVD again.

So I have 4 DVD's scratched and another faulty unit. I called RCA tech support and was told to take the

unit back to the store I bought it from. As for my scratched DVD's, all I got was a sorry we

cannot help you. I took it up to the supervisor and received the very same response.

It really is not fair that we purchase a unit. It damages the DVD's because of a faulty unit and then

we are told too bad. Being that this RCA (Monster Company), you would have hoped for some sort of

credit for another RCA product or something. Being that times are rough and money is tight. Replacing

the DVD's will need to wait. Really too bad for my 4 year old daughter.

I doubt that after writing this review anything will come about it. But figure I would anyways. I have

purchased many other RCA products and have always received a quality product. I guess times have

changed and the consumer is the one to blame for believing in a reputable company such as RCA.

Regards --

We bought this to keep my two sons entertained on our 7 hour drive. I did not want to buy it because of the poor reviews, but I could not find a better one on short notice. Well, all I can say is "DO NOT BUY". We made it to our destination but on the way home, it quit working. Just stopped. No picture, not sound nothing. Lousy product. Good thing we could return it for a full refund.

I bought this model from Target for a 7 hour trip. I was delighted with how easy it was to set up. I rigged it so that my front seat passenger could watch the 1st monitor and the passenger in the seat behind could watch the 2nd monitor. There was plenty of cord to do this. The plug-in cord was on the 2nd unit so I could plug it into the center console of my car without getting tangled in anything. Very easy. I popped in an audio CD to try it out and the volume was very audible. However, I did not try a DVD until we were well into the trip and then I found out that the volume was considerably lower for some reason when you play a DVD. We tried headphones, but there was little improvement. I also tried playing a DVd recording I had made of a television program and this model would not recognize it and play it at all.

I am very disappointed. I had to return it.

Want RCA DRC69705 7-Inch Dual Screen Mobile DVD System Discount?

I have noticed a lot of these reviews say theirs stopped working. I have had mine for over three years and it still works. I bought it at target. The only complaint I have is that the cords are too short. In my minivan, the cords are stretched pretty tight to reach the far back seat.

The picture is clear and the sound is great. They are definately loud enough. They are easy to use. They have headphone ports if you want them.

I almost feel like I have a different set than the other reviewers.

We only use it for long trips and not everyday running around. We use it about three or four weeks every summer and sometimes a little more.

I would recommend this to anyone and have no personal problems with the quality.

I got this from Target for a 5 hour road trip with a 2 year old. I hooked it up the night before we left and it worked great. Until the next morning when we left, it had completely stopped working. I t would not load any of the 5 movies that we brought. We were able to get one to play for about 30 minutes but got sick of hitting it when it skipped.

This product is a horrible piece of crap! DO NOT BUY!

Lucky I was able to return it for a full refund. Although that didn't help me keep my daughter entertained for the 5 hours each way.

Original Car Charger for Motorola RAZR V3 V3m V3c W755

Original Car Charger for Motorola RAZR V3 V3m V3c W755I think this is a great product. I just wish it did not have the big blue LED lit Motorola symbol. In this day of smash and grab its a neon sign to a thief. I just don't leave it out in car. That was my only problem with this product. It is a good affordable replacement charger for your Motorola Razr v3 phone.

Sadly, a car charger for the V3 was not included when the phone was purchased. And, living / working in mostly rural areas with limited signal strength, the phone's battery tends to drain much faster. Nice to have an option other than powering down the phone or using an inverter / AC charger when away from home.

GTMax Mini USB Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter - Black for Apple iPhone 4 4G 16GB / 32GB 4th Gene

GTMax Mini USB Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter - Black for Apple iPhone 4 4G 16GB / 32GB 4th GenerationI bought this to charge my Kindle and LG cell phone in the car. It is in no way limited to charging the products listed in the description. What it does is to convert the power available in a car into the power available at computer USB ports (but, of course, with no data). A sticker on the item says "5.0 volts at 1000 mA". I measured the voltage at 5.25 volts, but that's OK. As to 1000 mA, this is surely more than anyone is going to need and I don't think I'd try to draw that much current in case the thing heats up (for the price, it must be just a linear regulator and the voltage difference between the car and the output just produces heat proportional to the current you draw). Also, the connector is a full-size USB type A jack, not a Mini-USA jack as the description would suggest. I'm using the cable that came with my Kindle. The device is solidly built, although very light, and plugs firmly into the car. The USB connection is a bit tight, but I can't see any problem with that. All-in-all, I'm very pleased. It was delivered by air-mail directly from China but arrived in two weeks, well before the promised date.

The picture shown for many products for iphone 4 accessories on Amazon.com are not what you'll receive. This includes this GTMax charger. I ordered two of these from HandHeldItems and received two chargers for Motorola phones with the micro-B connector. I truly wish Amazon would create and enforce the policy of vendors showing the correct picture for items or kick them out.

  • Digital group call capabilities include public-group calling up to 5 public groups; 2 default public groups (channel 1, public 1-2)

Bought a pair of these radios during a US vacation. Range is practically at par with those common FRS/GMRS radios, don't expect more, especially not outside of a building. Inside larger buildings, the Motorola DTR410 really rocks, range is very good, even over a couple of floors. What makes this radio better than the cheaper FRS/GMRS is the quality of the communication between the units. It really sounds very well, no distortion, very loud and clear and without any noise/chatter. I also love the fact that the radio shows you if the other radio is in range. This is a fantastic feature which I have never seen on FRS/GMRS radios. The build quality is also absolutely great and the radio is very robust and rugged.

So if you are using your two way radio mainly in larger buildings/structures like hotels, malls, cruise ships, etc., the Motorola DTR410 is really great. If you need a two way radio for outdoor activities, a GMRS radio might offer a greater range in the open field.

Since using the DTR410 for almost a year now, I never looked back (former FRS/GMRS radios).

Highly recommended but not cheap. You get what you pay for though.

Buy Motorola DTR410 Digital On-Site Two-Way Radio Now

This two way radio is good for a big open site and small buildings, but for larger concrete building structures, they do not communicate well as the specifications state. Has good features overall, but could not communicate with them throughout a relatively large reinforced concrete building.

Read Best Reviews of Motorola DTR410 Digital On-Site Two-Way Radio Here

I tested a pair of these radios against a pair of 4 watt UHF portables and the range of these radios was a lot further. I belive it is due to the fact that these radios operate on 900mhz and are digital.

Want Motorola DTR410 Digital On-Site Two-Way Radio Discount?

Do not purchase this radio unless you plan to use it indoors, like inside a warehouse, a store, or a mid-size work place. I bought a pair of the DTR650's, which is the same as the DTR410, but with a better antenna (supposedly). The furthest I was able to talk to the other radio was only about three blocks. That is terrible for a radio that costs over $250.

You will also need to learn to use the special menu features to program it and select your contacts. You need to choose the people that you need to talk to. You also need to give each radio a name or alias (unless you want to keep your default 123456789 number to identify yourself in other caller ID's), and you can only change your user or radio name with programming software from your PC. The software is great and it's free, but you'll need to purchase the programming cable to connect the radios to the PC. This cable is NOT a USB cable; it's a serial DB9 cable. Who the heck still uses DB9 serial cables, Motorola???!!!

Also, these are cereal box-quality radios. They feel very light, like a toy walkie talkie you would buy for your kids. For this design, Motorola basically took a small Nextel phone or a cordless phone that operates in the 900 MHz range and put it inside this big cheap plastic radio housing.

I'm going back to my Motorola RDM series and use their scramble technology for privacy, thank you very much... I can get at least a mile and a half distance with them, and I know they're going to last longer.

Save 21% Off

There is about half second delay in speech, so you have to wait extra before you can start talking. Very weird. Also, sometimes when I pushed the PTT button the radio wouldn't connect to the other one. I'd have to let go the button for a couple of seconds and then retry. Returning them back to the seller today. Not impressed.
