I really like the retractable cable. Especially in the car where there is limited space.I you have a Garmin you know that it takes it a minute or so to load it's maps show you the agreement.
Well, when you plug it into your computer, with a USB cable, it does a whole different thing.
When you use this power supply on your Garmin, it thinks it's connected to a computer and starts going through that and then it realizes it's not a computer and goes through it's normal setup.
It takes more than 5 minutes for your Garmin to be ready to use with this power supply.
I'm not willing to wait that long.
This would be a great charger for a Blackberry phone or some other device (that uses the same standard mini USB connection) but it's not that great for a Garmin.
