It works.. it's a battery! Just a sealed lead acid battery with a couple fast on connecting tabs! Lord help us .. I won't volunteer to give a rating again!!
I was having home power supply issues and the power supply surge protector which uses the Panasonic batteries had long died. A friend told me I did not have to buy a new unit, just replace the batteries. I pulled out the batteries (2 wired together in series and found the type available on Amazon. The picture and serial numbers displayed was a match for what was in my hand. Order it, expecting to get what I held in my hand (2 batteries). Only one came which was when I realized that I needed to order 2 batteries, what was displayed on the web site was not one unit but one battery. Hence the rating of 3 star. Which may not be fair to the vendor but it is how I am rating it as a personal experience. Any way I have to order a 2nd battery now in order to get the power supply surge protect up and running. The original battery pack is wired together permanently which will involve more work than I was originally expecting when I get the 2nd battery.

I bought this to rewire and upgrade a Powerwheels 6v truck. This battery lasts 2-3 times as long as the powerwheels version. My kid can drive his truck for a couple of hours easily. The switch out is simple and the battery fits quite well. I would be happy to describe the modification to you if some would requests it on here.
