Previously, I submitted a negative review on this item. The reason for the negative review was that the charger was not actually able to charge the cell phone.. The point of connection to the cell was through the USB port not the charging port. Bottom line the charger could not function. I stated that since the cost of the item was so low it made no sense to pay the shipping cost to return the item. The sellers have recently notified me that I will be receiving a refund for the product. Even though the charger was a disappointment, the sellers have a satisfied customer.

One gripe with the Nokia 5230 "Nuron" cell phone is that although the phone uses a micro-b USB port for data connections, it has a separate proprietary port for charging. As a result, it's smart to keep a charger in your house and car just in case you need a boost.

This charger is working great for me, and I have no complaints. The other reviewer apparently got a charger with a usb end, but mine has the Nokia power port end, as pictured in the photo.
