I bought this and an extra battery for my daughter, because she bought a droid phone used on craigslist and it did not come with the right charger. Works great & she loves it. It charges the extra battery & phone no problem. It's a perfect fit in this docking station.
I wish I had read Danielle's review before I purchased this item, I can confirm this does NOT work with Motorola Droid 2. It will charge the battery in the bay but when the cable is connected to charge the phone, it does not charge. Im not sure which phones it does work with but if you own a Droid 2, this is not the right item for you. I gave it 3 stars because overall it is a good product as long as you are using a compatible phone. Ill keep it to have a spare battery charged.
