Does what it was designed to do and for the price, who can complain. Now if you want a nice one that has LCD display with MPPT, this is not for you. However, I do not put all of my eggs in one basket. I have a total of 6 charge controllers. 3 of which remain in a faraday cage. The instapark is the cheapest 10 amp charger that I own, but it has been tested and works properly. Very spartan like as far as the info it provides, but it does properly maintain my battery bank.....
The controller shipped quickly getting to me in about 5-6 days from ordering. After it got here it worked fine for all of 3 days, total charging time maybe 20hrs (has been really cloudy). After 3 days it says the battery was full (flashing green LED) and battery was only reading 12.5v (nowhere near full) i tested the battery, panel, and controller individually. The battery and the panel were performing as expected leading me to believe it was the controller. I returned the controller for a full refund through amazon. Also i didnt like that the LED indicators were sunk in so they were only able to be viewed from directly in front of the controller. Up to you if you want to chance it but i would not buy another one, i ended up going with HQRP.
