I bought this item against my better senses inspite of then poor reviews. The product came on time but it broke within 2 days. The hub which connects to the gps breaks exposing the wires and rendering it useless. They sent me a replacement which broke similarly within a week. It is a piece of junk and not worth a cent. Please stay away from this one and choose another possibly the original garmin accessory.

It works. However, it almost looks like a cell phone charger repurposed as a GPS charger. End result is that if you have a decent sized vehicle, the cord may be a little short when the GPS is mounted on the windshield.

well it does work and it is very compact because of the coil. this is why I purchased the charger as it was for my HD motorcycle GPS.

it does charge the garmin but it goes to computer hook up on the screen as the Garmin is loading the maps..

so while it charges it does not allow the GPS to operate as it should.

a disappointment for sure.

It may charge the GPS but it doesn't work like I expected it to. It only charges. You can't use your GPS and charge it at the same time. I ended up buying a replacement cord from Garmin. The vendor should make it clear that this cord is for charging only!

I'm really sorry I wasted my time getting this product. It wasn't worth the shiping charges to return it.

cheap cheap, even with shipping, cannot find this product at this cost. Does the job i bought it for and works fine. another good buy on amazon
