Well, the idea of this cradle charger was a good one, but the manufacturer didn't take into account that most phone users add a protective case cover on their smartphones. When a protective case is snapped onto the phone, it makes it longer, and the phone can no longer descend down into the cradle for a fit. It cannot make connection with the charging jack because the charging jack is low inside the cradle and a phone with a case cover can no longer reach it.
