I bought this charger expecting it had at least 1A capacity, as I have seen in other gps wall chargers for fast charge time. But I was dissapointed when I recived it and noted that it had only 500 mAH wich is the capacity that any cellphone has. I have other two similar cellphone chargers in home. I think I waisted my money this time. :(

This little power supply is light, small and efficient. If you have your GPS off the car for use on, say, your golf cart or while walking, this will keep it charged for you overnight. It can also be used to charge cellphones, etc.

Do not buy. This charger does not work all the time. When plugged in it will charge, but often my garmin will switch to "on" mode instead of charging--thus losing its power. Sometimes unplugging it and plugging it back in will switch it back to charging, but this is inconvienent as I'd like to be able to charge my garmin without monitoring it.
