When I first used it and plugged it into my car I had no problems. It was great at first but after a few days it stopped working. I unplugged it and tried again but totally stopped working.

The car charger works reliably, even the retraction mechanism, which is often problematic in these devices. It is a clean, functional design. The retraction button was hard to find at first, but works perfectly.Before I ordered this I read the reviews and saw that there were a lot of people that had a problem with it, but I ordered it a few weeks ago (curiosity got the best of me, and for this price I couldn't go wrong) and got it quickly and it works great. My husband and I have both have a Droid Incredible 2 and this fits perfectly in them, some reviews said it didn't fit tightly. Also some reviews said that there is no way to wind it back up unless you pull it out a specific way, but that is not true there is a button on it that quickly winds it back up. It also fits perfectly into the adaptor in the car, we didn't have to adjust it once. For the price you can't ask for anymore than the product is, it works just fine.
