Never buy any AC charger without first knowing the output specs and of course comparing that to the device OEM charge specs. While it is ok to use a 1 amp charge output on a 2 amp spec'd device, you should not use a 2 amp charger on a 1 amp device. Good example is the ipad vs IPhone. The former charges at 2 amps and the latter at 1 amp but many after market chargers do not differentiate between the two devices.

This tip does not fit the 2797 Garmin battery. I have returned it, and asked them to take this model number off their description.
