Charges my Magellan very nicely. Got tired of charging from the car. When we go on vacation I use it extentively when we go walking. It is nice to plug it in at night and turn it on in the morning, add our hotel to addresses and go walking. Makes it easy to find our car or hotel.

This is a very useful item to have. I usually check the destination on a computer/net and setting all intermediate addresses on the magellan is before even I get in the car is very useful.
