In my neck o' the woods, sealed AGM batteries go for $80 to $100+. Money doesn't grow on any of the trees in my neighborhood, so I look for bargains and that usually means checking Amazon first. I was delighted to find this battery for only $66, and with free shipping to boot! I ordered late Thursday afternoon and the package arrived on the following Monday via Priority Mail. I call that excellent service. The battery came with no specific information on cranking amps or any other specifications, but I figure any YTX20HL-BS size battery will meet the minimum requirements of the motorcycles it is intended to fit, so I'm not worried about it. I hooked the battery up to my Battery Tender before installing it to insure a full charge starting out. It took about 6 hours to reach full charge (this is with a Battery Tender, not a battery charger). After installation, the bike started strongly and ran more smoothly than before (this motorcycle has computerized EFI and is very much voltage-sensitive) so output is obviously fine. Chrome Battery offers a no-questions-asked warranty, so no worries if you do happen to get a dud. I recently replaced the battery in my wife's motorcycle and paid about $90. I wish I had found Chrome Battery before laying out that much money. Now I know better.

After 55 days battery will not hold a charge. Custom Chrome battery shipped wrong battery to me twice. Finally sent me the correct battery, and now not even 2 months later, the battery is dead. Purchase was a complete waste of my time for a inferior product and dealing with seller is difficult and by email only. Seller told me twice that they would send me return shipping labels for the 2 incorrect batteries, they never did. Attempting to get a full refund.My battery arrived soaked in a liquid, I was scared it was leaking but it may just be something with the packaging procedure, I washed my hands instantly and didn't have any problem. Both terminals were bent (again giving me concern for leaking). When I put it in the bike, it started right up, I was very excited. rode for a day, next morning bike wouldn't start. I played with the connections a little and it starts. Now after each ride it wont start, I have to take off battery cover, re-tighten the screws then it'll start again. The terminal screws don't screw into the terminal posts, like they did on my H-D battery, their is a nut you put in the terminal to screw into. Either the nut or the screw or both are of poor quality or the design doesn't give enough contact area? I just got this battery a couple of weeks ago and so far so good. It's way too early to fully review it but so far, I am happy with its performance. The price was about 25% less than Wal-Mart's and it appears to be doing the job well.Save 16% Off
