I have actually bought two of these little battery maintainers now... one for my motorcycle and one for my ATV. Living in Colorado, especially in winter, it's good to keep these on your batteries all winter. I only take mine off before a ride and put them back on afterward, no matter what season. They keep the batteries in tip top shape and will make the batteries last longer. They are small, compact, and easy to use. I attached the two prong pigtails to my batteries for easy connection to the maintainer without having to remove seats to get to the batteries. That pigtail is always in easy reach to plug into the maintainer's cable.

These are well worth the money, and Amazon has the best prices I have found.
