Full HD 1080P 2.0" Car Camcorder DVR Camera Recorder With Night Vision/HDMI/Motion Detection

Full HD 1080P 2.0' Car Camcorder DVR Camera Recorder With Night Vision/HDMI/Motion Detection
  • Full HD 1080P Video Recording.
  • 8-LED Infared Light For Night Vision.
  • 2. 0" LTPS TFT LCD with 360 degree rotation.
  • 180 degree rotation lens.
  • 140 Degree wide angle.

I have tried number of these "carcams" and none have worked as advertised. This one came closest, but did not record in the dark, nor was the motion detection triiggered in darkness. If anyone can recommend one to me, I'd be grateful.

The sender, Alldaymall, sent it promptly and effeciently.

I've got the package today, I was so glad it made it in time. The box was ok, intact, same as picture but inside I've found another camera with no Infrared LEDs and also with the plastic scratched. In the picture it shows the lights and it is also in product description: "8-LED Infared Light For Night Vision". Rest of the specs seamed ok: 1080p, supports 32 GB card, motion activated.

I've tried to see how it works. Motion activaion works great. Image it is ok until it gets to a darker place, like after sunset. So no kind of night vision on what I've got.

I'm going to return it and maybe get something else.

I hate to write negative reviews, but this camera absolutely forces me to do so for a multitude of reasons. Right off the bat, I went to record in "Full HD Mode". I then received a prompt that Full HD requires a class 6 card or higher, and was set back to the default video mode, which is horrible. So, I decided to give the "night vision" a try. Guess what, that ring of lights that appear to be infrared lights, do nothing. The best I could get was the two "white lights" to shine. This is not night vision. It is tantamount to taping a small flashlight on the camera, and calling it night vision. The 5 MP still camera shots are horrible. The images, regardless of the lighting conditions, all come out dark, and orange. To date, this is the worst use of 20 dollars I have ever spent. I was expecting Vivitar type nightvision, which isnt very good, so my expectations were low. However, this set the new standard, for me, when it comes to misleading advertisement, and quite frankly, I am surprised to see Amazon still offer this piece of junk. If you do not believe my reviewbuy one for yourself. Remember, you have been warned. This camera flat out sucks
