After a year, this works just like it should, Though not the most flexible cord in freezing temps it doesn't snap, so right for the price. The IC chip needed for correctly charging is there and so is a led light to let you know it's working.

This works great with my Samsung Gravity phone. It is really nice to keep this in a car and have as a back up charger.

It works, seems solid, and saved me over $30 versus the cell phone store. For those checking to be sure, this has the "microUSB" which is newer, a little wider and flatter of a connector than the older "miniUSB" that used to be more prevalent. What more can be said?
