These radios are AWESOME! My summer camp/after-school program has 300 kids and we use 14 of these. They are completely solid. They get dropped in the sand, in the mud, they bounce from 3-4 feet on concrete, they get splashed at the pool and they just keep on going. The battery life is insane. They are used for almost 12 hours a day, every single day and I have never had a single one drop below all 3 battery bars. One time one of my staff left one on in a classroom all night after being used all day and when I found it, it still had all 3 battery bars. The size is perfect, they fit well in my hand, they are extremely light weight and can be very discreet. Reception is excellent. The most vulnerable part of these are the antennas. I have had about 6 of them lose the cover, but they still work fine. We will never buy another Motorola walkie again, these are so much better, smaller and cheaper.
