I was having a lot of trouble getting my Sony Reader to hold a charge when I used the computer to charge it. I purchased this wall charger and find that the charge holds for multiple books now. I've been using this charger for about two years now, I bought it when I bought my Sony ebooks, it works well with b0th the 505 and the 700. I've used it in the US and Europe without problems. There are better ebooks out there now see the Kindle but I recommend the charger.
