I just bought this item, and tried it in the car. My devour didn't start charging. Ususally it tells a USB was connected on the display. But, it didn't. I tried it in a different car. No hope. It's a cheapy one. So, you cannot trust its quality. I don't want to spend more money to return it, either.

This charger does not work at all!! It is impossible to get a connection off of it! Don't waste your time, you really get what you pay for with this charger. I can't say it enough, it doesn't work at all!

This products works pretty good. However it does not always stay put in the car port the way that I want it to. it comes loose very easily. However, i love that it retracts and i dont have cords everywhere and the light on it always makes it easy to find while driving!
