Got the battery pretty quick. Charged it up and works like a charm. Best part was that it is waaayyyyyy cheaper than the Garmin branded battery. When I initially installed the battery on my GPS, it wouldn't lock into place. I worked it a little and it locked into place. Good to go!

I purchased this item for my Garmin 276C. Even though it looked like a standard Garmin battery it does not perform or fit like one. I had to "modify" the battery with a knife to get it to fit and even that did not allow it to perform correctly. Yes, it did supply power; however, it does not allow graphics during charging to show charge levels, it does not allow the gps to boot as last turned off requiring one to set the gps everytime you run it on. Basically, this battery does not supply the required intelligence for the Garmin products. It is obvious this is a copy and acts like a bad copy at that. You get what you pay for.

Because there are no reviews on this product to date, I am compelled to rate 5 stars on design. I already own Goal Zero products and chose to take a chance on something for half the price. All I can say for now is you are getting the exact same looking product from Powin Energy. Retractable Car Charger for LG Octane

1/21/13 I have only had this for a couple of weeks, but seems to be working absolutely fine. I was reluctant to buy it as I thought it might be a gimmicky little piece of junk, but it is not. Now...again....I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it appears to be made well and does the job. What I like so much is that I am rid of the bulky cord. I store the charger in the glove box and the bulky cord on the original car charger took up too much room. The retractable mechanism on the Retractable Car Charger springs right back in when you hit the little button. It is too soon for me to say how the retractable mechanism is going to hold up, but it seems to have quite a spring to it so I feel it will last for quite a while. I don't charge the phone regularly in the car so there really is no reason for the spring to wear out. I paid under $5 for this item and my feeling is if it fails in a couple of years....I've had my monies worth. By then I'll more than likely have changed phones and also more than likely this retractable charger will not be applicable to a new phone. My only suggestion would be that you store it inside of something to protect it. I wouldn't just throw it into the glove box. The reason I have purchased it is that the original car charger that came with my phone got damaged while in the glove box. The piece that goes into the phone for charging got crushed by something in the glove box. We cannot figure out what happened as we don't store anything heavy in the glove box, but none the less the piece that went into the phone was crushed and destroyed. So, again, I would put the Retractable Car Charger inside of something to protect the little piece that goes into the phone. I've put mine inside of a small makeup bag, but anything that has a little padding that can offer some protection will do.

I keep this charger in my car at all times. I has a very good retracting cord.

I purchased this generator from a local camper dealer about 3 years ago so we could camp in the parking lot at our kids colleges. The electric start is a nice feature and if I was to buy another one I would get it with the remote START/STOP feature. I found a place that I can order it to add to mine. There is enough power to run one AC, any lights you want, TV, water pump all at the same time. Fuel consumption is very low. I haven't clocked the hours per tank, but we take it to a state part in Connecticut where there is no power at all and can get through 3 or 4 days on a tank full. There is also a option to add a propane fuel supply. This is also one of the quietest generators I have heard in the campgrounds. You can stand right beside the unit and have a normal conversation. I wish Yamaha would make a model to install in my 5er so I didn't have to load it into the truck. It's a bit heavy so I am going to add a hoist to my garage to help with the loading now that the kids are no longer at home.

I am very happy with this generator, does everything I hoped for, and more. The hardest part was installing the battery, made me nervous filling battery with acid. But, following the instructions it went without a hitch. I thought they forgot to include the battery strap since it was not on the battery when I took it out of generator. But, I found it lying in the battery compartment way in the back. So check if you do not see yours, it is a rubber strap. Adding the oil is a little tricky, I bought a funnel that twist around for the job. The motor wants to RUN..... after gassing up I hardly pulled the cord and it took off. I let it run for 30 minutes to charge the battery. I shut it off, and restarted it using battery power, again it took off like a shot. In the mean time I installed a transfer switch on my furnace, a couple days later. Testing the generator on the furnace I hooked up the generator, again it took off like a shot. It ran my furnace with no labor what so ever. I am ready for the ice and snow this time. Last winter I was without power 4 days, no heat no lights, no fun. Oh, yes it is a little heavy, I can lift one end, but not the whole thing, but it is on wheels, so I can move it around my garage no problem. Kind of wish the smaller wheels would swivel, then I would not have to lift and move one end, to steer it around. Yes, it is expensive, but quiet and runs smooth and worth every penny. EF3000ISE

I highly recommend this product. I got this generator after Hurricanes Frances & Jeanne hit our state, knocked out our power for 10 days.

The first generator I got out of desperation, it was hot and we lost a refrigerator full of food...this generator was horribly loud & I knew it would be a matter of time before the neighbors complained. Thankfully I was able to sell it the following day and I immediately ordered 2Yamaha 3000 generators, I own a duplex so the neighbor had to get one too.

Wow, what a huge difference! Even with 2 generators going at once it was much quieter than my vacuum cleaner. I was able to connect my refrigerator, TV, a standing lamp and a window AC (5,000watt) unit for nighttime use. When Jeanne hit everyone in Lighthouse Point FL seemed to have purchased those ear busting generators!

Needless to say I am very happy and pleased with my Yamaha generators. When Wilma hit in 2005 we were out of power for nearly 2 weeks and those generators came in handy. On a full tank (energy save switch on) they will last through the night 7-8 hrs. I would shut them down for the morning, refill the tanks and have them on in the afternoon.

You get what you pay for and these are excellent generators, very quiet, great for hurricane season and for camping, any outdoor events where you need power, it will do the job. Maintenance is easy, just like maintaining the engine of a car, you have to do the same with a generator. Change the oil/filter/spark plug and follow storage protocol.

We use the product on an RV every year. It's power saver feature insures the unit will run all night keeping you warm or cool (if you remember to turn it on). Easy electric starts definately a plus in regards to children/family helping set everything up. In camping situations, everyone around you will be in awe of how quiet this runs. This charger is a great idea. You do need, of course to make sure that it will fit your model. I purchased mine for the new TomTom VIA 1505. It needs a different plug than the other TomTom model I have. With multiple tips for different types, you are set if you have more than one model or change models. It does not overcharge so you can leave it plugged in your house or hotel room in order to plan your trips. I would prefer that GPS models came with this, but since they don't you have to search for one.

The plugs fold back into the unit making it easier for storage and so they do not get bent. There is a light that lets you know it is charging, but it just stays on, even if the GPS is fully charged, which it does do quickly (less than an hour from a dead battery). It is also lighter than other chargers I have used.

One word about the company they did not send a tip that fit the VIA 1505 and when I e mailed them, they answered right away and sent out the correct tip which I received in 2 days. Good service and a decent product.

I love my Sony Walkman NWZS545RED 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Pink) and use it almost every single day. The problem that I was experiencing, which I am sure others were experiencing, was that every two days it would run out of battery and I would have to hook it up to my computer... Which has to be completely on for it to charge.

I don't have one of those fancy gadgets that lets my computer fan air out, so I hated having to leave it on forever and fearing that it would overheat. (Normally if I use my computer I hold it in a position that will let it air out, but my MP3 player can take up to 1-2 hours to completely charge!)

I spent today looking at all my options, but most of them had too much (one came with an MP3 player cover which I'd never use, key-chains, etc.) I knew half of that would go to waste. Finally I came across this. Perfect for me!

I was stuck with charging my Sony Walkman NWZ-S545RED when my laptop was on and could not play the walkman while it was charging on the usb cable. Now with this ac adaptor charger I can charge it and listen at the same time and not put an additional strain on my lap top and its charger and battery. Also comes with a car charger too and an extra usb hook up cable in case I lose one. For the price I bought two one for my self and one for my brother who has the same walkman but his is black. I was satisfied with this accessory bundle UNTIL one of the prongs for the AC adapter CAME OUT IN THE WALL SOCKET. This could be very dangerous. It also ruined the adapter.

Take my advice, buy an extra USB cable for your Walkman and use a USB wall charger that is better quality.
