Recently I needed to use my old (1999) lantern and it didn't light
I needed an inverter for my dell studio laptop so I can work on a report while on a long driving trip with a group. The inverter got the job done, though I had to unplug it from the cigarette lighter when it got too hot. Not a big deal as my laptop had enough power to sustain with the charge at that point. By the time my laptop battery was low again, the inverter was cool enough to plug back in for charging. I was really pleased with the product as it did exactly what I expected. By the end of the trip, my report was done. I found the inverter very valuable.

What a poorly chinese made piece of junk! When received I plugged it into a port. The charger became so hot I had to unplug it wearing a glove. Now I know why this peice of crap is sold so cheap. Kinda like throwing money away !

I love this thing. It allows me to hook up an underwater video camera, tiny TV, and my phone charger all at once on my boat. The only issue I have is that the area gets pretty crowded. My TV plug is a box plug, making it difficult to plug in the USB cord and lighter adapter. If all your plugs are straight, you'll be fine. It's got a built in cooling fan, as well. Fits nicely into my boats cup holder and the cord is long enough to go to my lighter outlet.
I have had these for a few weeks and use them daily. They work as advertised although, as has been widely reported, the range is no where near what is advertised. They do reach across our small town and I have taken them with me to the store and been able to chat with home base. That is maybe a mile with houses and hills in between. Have not had them in the woods yet. They are light weight, small and easy to carry and use. We have put them throughout the house so we can conveniently contact one another in and around the home. (With five kids and a large house, it saves on the lungs or feet.) The "play back" feature is especially nice because my hearing is not great which also brings up my chief complaint (besides the range issue) which is the volume. They are not easy to hear (hence four rather than five stars) and my hearing is bad anyway so the playback feature is very nice. Given the good price on these, I think they are a very good value and recommend.

I bought over a dozen of these for the staff at our school because the price was low and I'll admit: I don't know a whole lot about two-way radio. Well, most of them stop working almost immediately. Some began to transmit even when the person did not intend to transmit anything. If you want a two way radio that reaches further than motorola's two way radios, this is it. I'm not saying you can go across town with it, but I've been trying to get connected within a 10 block distance, downtown, lota of building, and all the radios I've bought simply didn't work. The features are great but not worth much if you can only use them in your own house! Very disappointed!
I installed the previous version of this unit to provide solar power to my electric garden fence on 06/04/2011. It remained in continuous use without problems for 270 days then failed. My garden is in SW Oregon, so we do get a lot of rain. The maximum temperature range during the service time was from 85F to 20F. The led tube display is completely obscured by condensation inside the unit which would tend to make me think that it was not properly sealed and in fact was not waterproof as advertised.
This is a great deal on a well-crafted, genuine Motorola accessory.

I was surprised that this was original motorola equipment for such a reasonable price. Looking at stores I only found knock-off generics and they were more expensive; even after paying for shipping. Well...This is a cigarette charger for a Motorola RAZR. It's black and it has a pretty blue window that lights up when you plug it into the socket. It also has a clip at the end to clip itself to the cord in order to prevent having the cord sloppily hang around. Not much to review on this one -they either work or they don't. This one works, of course. The cool part is that the lighter plug lights up with a blue Motorola logo.
I have the new creative zen media player. I like to go camping in the Everglades National Park...no electricity there. The build is a little cheap but the product does just what it is advertised as doing. If you need to charge or run your zen(after it's charge is exhausted)where there is no electricity, this is a good choice. I checked into Creative's 12 volt charger cable for use on my boat but it's $40.00 and $10.00 shipping. Enough said?

I had this jumper battery for a few months and I didn't use it until now that my friend's Saturn Vue V6 engine was not starting. I connected the clamps to his battery and the car started immediately. The battery status on this unit has 3 lights (red-yellow-green) and is very useful to know when to recharge it. It was on yellow status but it still could start several cars with ease. The air compressor and the flash light on the unit are also very useful. A very handy equipment for the price (when I bought it, it was $80)

I spent a long time researching battery chargers,especially because I was planning to give as a gift. I chose this charger/air compressor/power source because it has some very important features. First, it has a VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY feature which most of the other chargers/starters didn't seem to have: IT HAS A DIAL WHICH ENABLES YOU TO TURN THE UNIT OFF. This is really important when you're attaching the cables! If your charger/starter is live during that stage and the cables accidentally touch each other or something else that causes a spark,your car battery could blow up! I don't know why that's not a required safety feature on all starters/chargers. It also has an alarm, in case you hook the cables up improperly. Second, when you plug the unit into your wall outlet to charge it, IT WON'T OVERCHARGE. That's another feature that's not very common. You will need an extension cord, though. It doesn't come with one...most of them don't anymore. I think they should. The air compressor is a nice feature; you can use it to keep your tires properly filled or in case of an emergency, obviously. I found it to be a little heavy,but it's actually one of the lighter ones (especially if you want an air compressor). The recipient didn't have a problem with the weight. Personally, I wish they would make all of them much lighter and with the features I listed above. It also has a light, the charge indicator and off dial work. It was charged ( a couple of weeks ago) and it's still charged. Everything seems to be working, it arrived in perfect condition. The recipient hasn't needed to jump start a car, YET. If there are any problems with it, I'll re-post immediately. I just couldn't wait to review it, because I wanted people to know about all of the great features and the perfect condition it was in upon arrival. I think it was money well spent and I would definitely recommend it. I purchased one of these items from Amazon When it arrived battery gel had leaked into the packaging. After several phone calls and a faxed copy of my receipt Schumacher replaced the unit. When the second unit arrived the air compressor would not come on. More phone calls and faxes before Schumacher replaced the unit. After 10 months the case broke in such a way that the unit cannot be charged. Three units, three different problems. I choose the Schumacher compressor package for it's price and features. I've been really surprised how much I have used it. It so handy that it allows me to better keep up with the tire pressure on my cars and I have used the jump start feature to get my neighbors car going and a car that was on a bridge where we couldn't turn around to use regular jumper cables. The compressor is a bit slow but it doesn't give up, even on SUV tires. One thing to note, the on board pressure gauge is not accurate at all (almost gave 4 stars for that but it has been to handy not to give it 5 stars).
My package arrived in 4 days of placing my order. Took it out, tried it in the car and it works good. The red light comes out while it plugged in and it charges my psp. It very light too. So far, no complaints.

When I found this product it cost me next to nothing, literally, I paid more for shipping. The quality is good, psp licensed and creates less noise interference in the speaker system. The charger is good works fine. The cord is a aporprite length for the car not too long not too short. The charge is fast and strog would difenitly suggest this charger. You cant be the price either less then a doller try and find that at gamestop.
