First of all this isn't the first Bluetooth car kit I've used in my car, but it is the best one yet. I will start with good stuff first:

the built is quite good, although it looks cheap, once you hold it in your hand you find that it is not so bad at all.

the sound quality is great. Talking while driving on the highway, windows open is not a problem at all.

Connects to phone easily.

the best thing actually is the battery life, I've used it for a few months now and it still runs on the very first charge I made when I got it out of the box.

Now for the downside:

the first drawback is the buttons, the timing you need to press the buttons to operate the device is a bit odd, for example you need to press the power on button for at least five seconds to start it, and that's quite a time for someone who want's to jump in the car, start the engine and drive off. the same goes for the other functions.

the second thing is the sun visor clip, the magnet thing is a great idea, but the way the metal clip is made is not. It really leaves a bad mark on the visor when removed, both as an impression and as a black spot. I had to change the position of the device once, it left a black impression on the old place on the visor, I had to use some soap on a cloth to remove it, as for the impression, well it got less and less with time, people don't notice but I do especially that I know where it is and it's there above my head all the time.

All in all, the device is great, I can't go out driving (which I do a lot) without hooking my phone (Desire HD)to it, it is very practical and helpful. You just have to chose a spot for it on the visor once and for all; or risk changing the spot.

Works well but does not pick up the connection on its own. Must be paired each day you enter the car. However, it doesn't disconnect right away so it should work well getting in and out of the car during the day. Mine sent a note to the phone that it was disconnecting about 10pm last night. I had paired it about 11:00 am when I was in the car. The voice quality is very clear on the sending and receiving end. I use it with my blackberry curve 9330 and my husband's 4s iphone. I give it 3 stars because it doesn't pair by itself after the initial pairing as many speaker phones now do.

The iKross Bluetooth Speaker Phone Handsfree Car Kit with USB Charger allows you to hear your phone well over road noise, etc., but with the built-in mic so far away from your voice, the other party has a hard time hearing you. It's a convenient design, but since the whole unit is located wherever your 12v outlet is, you have to shout in order for the other person to hear. That might be OK if talking to your spouse (they're probably used to your yelling!), but not so good for a business call, especially if your vehicle is a bit noisy. A good idea, but it doesn't cut it in the real world.
