I have Edited my review to take into consideration the comment below!This little charger is terrific! Even though it is marketed as a Samsung Product charger, it will work on all products that use USB connections, like the Google Nexus 4, 7, & 10, and the iPhone 4, 4S and 5! The 2.1 Amp output will also be able to charge your iPad and other higher-power-necessary devices. You've probably unfortunately realized this already when you try to plug in your iPad or Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD 8.9", Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 16 GB to your computer and it doesn't charge as fast. If you try to plug it into any old car charger, it will charge slowly or not at all.
That's what the 2.1 amps fixes! Think of Amps kind of like a highway (or bandwidth). The more lanes on the highway, the more cars (electricity) can get to your device. More modern, powerful devices need more electricity. That's also how a car like the Tesla Model S can still be charged using a simple 110v plug, although you'll probably get only a few miles charge per hour on it, compared to upwards of 60 miles charge per hour with their super charger that has a 240v plug and who knows how many amps.
I did attach a photo of the Samsung 30-pin connector versus the Apple 30-pin connector just in case anyone does try to buy this for use with your Apple Apple iPod touch 32GB Blue (5th Generation) NEWEST MODEL or similar it won't work! Even though to the naked eye the two plugs look exactly the same, there's a piece of metal that will stop you from plugging one into the other. Kind of silly in my opinion that the two would make connectors that are essentially the same but not work with each other. Oh well! If you BYOC (Bring your own cables) this car charger will definitely get the job done with any USB device!
