The stand is functional but offers a somewhat unpolished feel and annoying LED lights.

The battery charge light is constantly on green with a flashing red light when no battery is inserted. There should be no light on the battery charger if no battery is inserted. The power on light is blue.

Inserting the phone feels somewhat raw as you basically put it on a USB plug fixed on the stand.

I like the fact that you can charge a spare battery while you are charging your phone. The cradle provides good support for the phone while charging. The cradle uses the USB connector to connect to the phone, not the cradle power connections on the bottom of the phone. This lets you connect it to a computer while docked, but does not tell the phone that it is docked. Also, the connector on the back of the cradle is not the same as the connector on the phone. You end up with one USB cable to connect to the cradle, and another one to connect directly to the phone. The USB cable from the cradle is also used to plug into the charger. The cradle does not provide any form out audio out.

Do not plan on putting the phone in the cradle if you have it in a case. The support pushes the phone out too far to plug in. The support does snap in, but you will have an interesting time removing it without breaking it.

The cradle has a big enough footprint that it is not likely to tip over. Add a battery to the back charger, and it is even more stable. It is handy to have by your computer to provide a data and charging connection for your phone.
