The charger met and exceeded my son's expectations. He uses it on his Boy Scout's trips and it comes in quite handy!!!!
I am the kind of person who panics when I see that my iPhone's battery is low, so I thought this would be perfect for outdoor events when charging with an outlet is impossible. Unfortunately, this charger doesn't fit the iPhone properly, so you have to physically hold it in place the entire time it's charging. Also, it charges v-e-r-y slowly, and only in direct sunlight. (It does charge when directly plugged into a computer, as well, but doesn't retain the charge--so it's not like you can charge it up at home and then use it at night.) All in all, it's okay if you happen to be standing in direct sunlight, and can hold it in place for an hour...but other than that it's not worth buying.
