iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod Car Charger 12V DC - Banana Shape

I bought this car charger because, like everyone else, I thought that a car charger was just a car charger straight across the board. Well, I was wrong. This car charger worked like a charm for the first 2 months and then one day just STOPPED WORKING! I bought it for a few pennies, so I shouldn't have expected it to work for as long as it did, but I figured it wouldn't be so poorly made.

All in all, if you're looking for a quick fix for cheap without durability, get this and the dozens other on Amazon like it. If you want something durable and dependable that's going to last a long time, go to the Apple store and buy something a little more expensive.

This product will not charge my iPhone as advertised. Don't waste your time and money even if it is inexpensive.

The charger is loose within the charging socket in my car and easily falls out. Additionally, it does not work with my case (an Otterbox). Still, it's just a few dollars, so I guess you get what you pay for.

When I plug it in the car charger, it has a hard time staying in the charger which ruins the phone. Had to but another one for a few dollars more that works great

This is very helpful while traveling. We like the expandable cord because the outlet in our car is some distance away.
