This worked for about 6 months in three different cars. However, from the beginning the charger would get hot and would even smell like melting plastic. After about 6 months, it started losing the connection with the car lighter/charger port. It would work only if it was turned at a particular angle, then if it was at a particular angle and you jiggled it just right. Then it would stop after 4 minutes. Finally it gave up. I suspect the springs or some other physical failure. I switched to a Motorola charger which has worked fine for a month. I liked this charger's small size and retractable cable, but it did not last long.Save 59% Off
