NOCO Genius GC015 12V Eyelet Battery Indicator

The battery will barely start the car and this thing says it has a 100% charge. I hooked up a NOCO charger to the battery and it said the charge level was 25% while this thing was still a happy 100%. According to this either the battery is dead or it's 100%. Pretty worthless.

I use this to monitor my generator start battery. So far it seems to be working well. The battery was already charged. When I hooked it up to the battery the green light was blinking. I zip tied it where I can see it easily inside my battery compartment. Perfect. Thanks!

I purchased one of these Deltran 6-volt tenders in 2009 for use on my Honda Trail 90. It worked fine that first winter. When I went to hook it up this past fall, it didn't work. To avoid the time cost and hassle, I didn't seek a warranty replacement, I just purchased another one of the same brand and model. When I went to hook it up, bad news. This one did not work right out of the package. I returned it to Amazon and received a prompt refund. I have four of the Deltran 12-volt battery tenders and they are all still working fine after four years. Don't know what the problem is with the 6-volt model but I will not purchase another one.

I got this as I have had shoulder pain for years on my left side after a rotator cuff surgery, but then my right shoulder started hurting and my MRI showed a partial tear of my rotator cuff. I didn't want surgery so I checked the web and and found this. At physical therapy they use ice and heat on it and this helps my muscles relax. I love this I use when I get up and when I go to bed and am sleeping better. I can use on both arms a real plus for me. I put it up to the second to the top setting as I don't get good results with lower settings. The price was good compared to others.

This product is nowhere near worth the money. Even on the MAX setting it does not get even remotely hot. The actual area that heats up is only about 3"x3". It turns off by itself after about 15-20 minutes and even while you use it, it continuously cools down by itself. Even on a full charge it turns off by itself and loses heat. Absolutely pathetic product. Will never use this company's products ever again.

This charger is very convenient and a good size. I noticed that a lot of these 2in1 (wall/car) chargers are a but bulky, this ones normal sized in comparison to the average car charger. It has a large blue symbol on it that makes it very obvious whether you plugged it in all the way and it is or is not charging your phone. It is pretty sturdy, I used it myself for about a year and half and had no issues, a male friend pulled it out of the wall once and it fell into pieces, literally. He fumbled his way through putting it back together (guesswork) and... it worked. Has been working still since then although it feels pretty fragile now ie the parts move around a bit and i'm pretty sure the inside parts are no longer in the right position. Calling this a car kit is a bit ambitious as it's really just a car mount with a charger. It does fit the Evo nicely, and seems to be made of quality stuff. However, I found that anchoring it to the windshield resulted in so much vibration that the screen wasn't readable; the only way I could figure out to damp it was to mount it such that the bottom of the mount sits against the dashboard. Having done that, the only remaining problem is that sometimes when I pull the phone out, the whole cradle slides off (as another reviewer has mentioned). That's really annoying but there doesn't appear to be any easy way of fixing it other than perhaps glue. Other than these annoyances, it works well and does what I need. Oh, and there's one other issue what were they thinking in using a mini rather than micro USB cable for power? If you ever want to just plug the phone in but hold it in your hand rather than using the cradle you are out of luck! I haven't seen anything better for the Evo, and you can work around these issues but for this much money I really would have expected something a bit more polished.

This is a well designed product except for a few things. When using the speaker phone, people say that they can't understand what I'm saying so the Car Kit must cover up the microphone of the phone. The hands free phone was one of the main reasons I purchased this device. It is a two handed removal process because the whole "docking holster" comes loose when you lift the phone out. A dab of glue would fix that but then it could only be used for the EVO (assuming there are other inserts for other phones). Substantially built, strong, very adjustable. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for the problems I mentioned above.

This unit replaced a simple but effective charger. Wish I could go back. Often refuses to "engage" because battery voltage is termed "too low to charge". (Jump start of engine is thus req'd to get recharge going) Display is too dim to view in any daylight condition. Controls and error messages are not intuitive, requiring frequent reference to manual. Despite revered brand name, surely there's something better out there.

Almost useless. The B&D Vectors, as many have pointed out, will not charge a dead battery. So you need an old fashioned charger to precharge it before using the B&D. They claim this is to keep you from trying to charge damaged batteries, but this explanation is scant confort on a cold morning when all you want to do is get your car started and get to work and your new charger refuses to! And I have sucessfully charged many batteries that the B&D refuses the charge, and other smart chargers like the Schmachers do not have this problem.

Oh, the plastic clamps tend to break at least, they have on the 3 of these chargers I have personal experience with!

In my (current) remote location, a WORKING battery charger is a good device to have.

This space-filler does nothing other than

a) Display "000" (or perhaps "OOO")

or

b) Display the "race track" LED circuit. Fun for 5-10 seconds.

The buttons, other than the "Off"/"Power"/"On"/etc. (I'd have to go outside to confirm that syntax) are "dead".

It does not display the battery voltage on a fully-charged and operational "pila" in my Z71.

Does not do anything with regard to the charge rate button. It's not as if this has a lot of moving parts and perhaps the flyball controller is busted!

I am unable to throw it far enough ...

We use this inverter in a storm shelter here in West Texas. It is connected to a automotive battery. Have a Battery Tender on the battery to keep it charged. In a tornado the inverter will provide power to the shelter for TV, radio, lights and a fan. Tests of the system have been perfect. The inverter has good connections for plugging it in and for clamping it to the battery. Like the front display showing stats.

I really shouldn't complain. I mean with the cost of this thing its hard to be unhappy. The product works. I am sucking 1100w peak at startup and 880-900w @ 10.8-11v continuous. My big issue is @ 75f the inverter shuts down after 6 1/2 minutes. I thought maybe the batteries i have may be faulty, but no, they still pass load tests after shutdown. Problem is, if the inverter is used anywhere near continuous rating, it gets super hot and shuts down. I can let it cool a few minutes and it works again,but only after flipping the switch on and off. The green light comes back on and the thing stops beeping and flashing its red light but wont power the load until the unit is turned off, then back on. This will be annoying at best. I have 350Ah of battery capacity because i need to use my vacuum for 30-45 minutes, @ 80A draw. Now i will have to periodically wait for the inverter to shut down every 6-7 minutes and find something productive to do. Also, the inverter is VERY light. I knew i had a problem as soon as i took it out of the box.

So, case in point; If you need this to run high wattage load for very short periods of time it appears to be the best value inverter in this wattage range. But, if you need to use it to make money like me, it will more then likely lead to some embarrassing outbursts and wasted productivity. I will be re purposing this inverter for another project and replacing it with a commercial unit like i should have purchased in the first place. "You get what you pay for" -once again my grandmothers infinite wisdom lives on.

Nice inverter except the input power terminals are too close together.

Trying to use large cables is a bit scary in a vehicle where vibration may loosen the cable terminals.

It would be very easy for the cables to short out. I guess some shrink wrap would

work? But still an accident waiting to happen. I'm looking for ideas. A design flaw IMHO. The class T fuses are expensive even on amazon16 bucks. And a replacement fuse at a retail store would be 30 bucks. There's also the possibility

that the fuse won't blow.
