This cable is useless for the iPad 4. I bought this item to prevent me from sitting next to a power outlet while utilizing my iPad. However, little did I know this cable only charges the iPad 4 while it's in a locked state. Not charging the iPad while using it pretty much defeats the purpose of this $25.00 cable. I can't attest to any other device with the lightening charger because I don't own any. For the iPad 4 64gb and 16gb, it's worthless!!!! My wife no knowing threw away the boxes of the 2 cables that I bought. So now I'm stuck with $50.00 worth of cables that I can't use. This two stars have nothing to do with the boxes in the trash. Just letting you know my situation so maybe you don't make the same mistake.

Do NOT buy this!!! The first cable broke within a few weeks of use and I'm not hard on my cables at all. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement which wouldn't even charge my ipad. Ridiculous save your money.

Broke almost immediately. Connector came off in the iPad. Very disappointing. The length is great, it was just poorly made.

I'm not complaining. This is a nice cable. It does exactly what the description says it will do. You'll be able to charge and sync your iPhone 5 or iPad 4 without difficulty.

But, be aware, it cannot be used to update your IOS software. If you try, you will get an error stating that the IOS software download is corrupted. Apple wants to make sure that the update doesn't fail when they push it to your device. If the cable isn't one of theirs, you'll get the error.

So, keep your Apple cable handy to do the updates.

The product works as well as the original charging cable. It is made of good wire and is high quality

Energizer Family Charger (CHFC) -

This was bigger than I expected, but is a wonderfully sturdy appliance and seems to charge the batteries quickly! I'd recommend it, particularly as new cameras consume batteries at such a rate. I'm about to invest in the rechargable C and Ds as well, since every hurricane season (Caribbean) we have to buy new batteries for flashlights, radios, etc, which end up dying before we even get to use them. Now that we have this charger, I only need to buy the rechargeable batteries ONCE! That's convenience and cost savings!

I've had the USB cables and charger for a month and everything fits and works as planned. This is a good alternative to the original manufacturer's equipment for a fraction of the cost.

Don't waste your money. The wall charger depleats your phone rather than charging it. So far the car charger is OK.

Excellent choice for travel. My battery depreciates most of the time during an outting. With the travel kit. I can charge on the go or at a public location.

I bought this battery to go with my Nuvi 500. I already own a Nuvi 750 but this battery is one of the reasons that I bought the 500. Unlike most other Nuvi's (and most other automotive GPS receivers) the 500 and the 550 have a user interchangeable battery (the 880 does as well). If you use your GPS primarily in your car this is not a big deal. However, my favorite thing about the Nuvi's is that I can carry them in my pocket as I explore a new city or ever a park or wildlife area. I even have a bicycle mount for it. My 750 only gave me about 3 hours of use before it had to be recharged. Although I am not getting the "up to 8 hours" of power that the manufacturer suggests for the 500 I am getting a solid 5 hours of use with the backlight set at 50%. If I still want more, that's where this battery comes in. A quick switch and I have another 5 hours of GPS guidance. Thank you Garmin for adding this feature to your latest GPS units!

I think it's a cool case with the solar. It comes with a USB way to charge it. I went to plug in the charger with the original USB outlet adapter 5.1v. 2.1 amp. The thing started smoking. I will change this review when the situation is rectified.

So far so good excited bout it and will post how long it really last till I need to plug in..
