Stanley TGC11 Total Garage Center with Battery Charger and Compressor
The manual is poorly written and many parts are just plain wrong typical of Chinese manuals.
I called the stanley support number for help about the non swiveling castors but they indicated my only option was to re package up the whole unit and send it back ugh. I am not going through THAT hassle. I asked if I could just send back the bad castors but they indicated they don't have any spares so I went down to Home Depot and bought a set of castors for $18.00.
So I agree with the first customer review, a nice concept but the unit falls well short of the promises in the description.

Black & Decker CPI10B 10 Watt Power To Go Cordless Compact AC/USB Power Supply (Black)
CONS: This device takes 11 hours to fully recharge! Some devices can cause the Power-to-Go device to get very hot. Pretty bulky when you consider it cannot even fully recharge a tiny MP3 player like the iPod Nano.
I thought that this device would be able to fully recharge my at least my iPod Nano. I plugged it in when my Nano was at 50% and the Power-to-Go lost all it's juice before the Nano was even at 100%! The Power-to-Go was able to give me an extra bar of battery life on my LG LX8000 phone, but that was about it. Also when I unplugged my cell phone charger from the Power-to-Go, the metals plugs of my charger were very hot. The manual recommends that the Power-to-Go not be left unattended and that it be monitored for rises in temperature. I guess this device would be helpful for dire emergencies, but don't expect your electronic devices to be fully charged. Despite the small charge the Power-to-Go gives out, the power supply itself needs 11 hours to fully recharge from a fully discharged state. I've never owned any small electronic device that needed such a long recharge time.Looking that the three versions of this 10W, 20W, 100W, I found the technical details on the B+D site helpful:
This Model # CPI10B has a 700mAh battery, the 20W a 2Ah battery, and the 100W a 4Ah battery. It looks like they are progressively heavier, but I can't find accurate figures on weight or dimensions.
Input 7.2 VDC, 2.5A
Output 115V AC 60Hz, 8W continuous
Battery 700mAh, NiMH
USB 5V DC (350 mA)

Got one of these for Christmas, plugged it in to charge, and left it for about two weeks. Then I tried it with my cell phone chargerit would have none of that. Tried a very small table radio. Nope. Finally charged my iPod Nano... for about four minutes before falling over dead. Now it's heading to take up landfill space. This device stinks. It takes over a day to charge, and it can barely provide any power. Don't buy this.It does work, but carefully read the wattage of what you want to plug in. I didn't. Keep thinking: 10 watts, 10 watts, 10 watts.Friday, July 4, 2014
Samsung Official OEM Car Charger for your EPIC 4G Phone Original Equipment and Manufacturer (DC 12
I've found that the connection to my charger port is not perfect, it sometimes looses connection if the phone is moved whatsoever. However, if I just put the phone down (shouldnt drive and be on phone anyway) it stays connected and works fine.
For the price, this is just fine, but SAMSUNG OEM it's not, the quality build is not the sameGood car charger. I like the fact that it doesn't stay on if the phone is not plugged in. The light doesn't light up until you plug your phone in, so you can leave it plugged in the car all the time.received this today and it is a cheap chinese made charger and NOT a genuine samsung OEM product. do not buyPicked this up for my Samsung Epic 4G and it works perfectly. A must have for any smartphone when using the GPS function as it can drain the battery pretty quick.Received it earlier than expected and it works very well. I'm happy desite being worried that the price was too good to be true.

Ok folks, Don't be fooled about these frs/gmrs walkie talkies. Mind you, it's not just the Cobra brand. These are nice radios. However, the 20 mile range capabilities is just a complete lie. They can communicate about a mile at most. The reason I give this radio 3 stars is that it works well for a walkie talkie but, the ranges on these type of radios is only a mile at most. Remember, ALL Brands of this type of radio is Only a mile or two at best. I don't know why they get away with such an exaggeration, but then again look at the late night infomercials promising a hard rock body with just a rubber band. Anyway, these radios are fine for keeping up with the kids at the mall or park. Also important is that you will need a license to operate on the gmrs channels. No problem, just fill out a form with the FCC and get your call sign and go. I'm an advanced class amateur radio operator, so my review can be trusted. Hope this helps.Read Best Reviews of Cobra Micro Talk 2 Way Radio 20 Mile With Naoo Channels - Cobra CXT280 Here
I wanted radios to use with headsets for a youth sports project. These indicate a headset/power connector, but its not described on the packaging or the user manual. The clerk at Walmart electronics dept was useless, and the Amazon listing did not have the description. It is a 2.5mm vs. the common 3.5 mm. I tried several headsets and a few cell phone headsets, but none worked. The manual says absolutely nothing about the headset port other than it is a shared headset/power port. I looked it up online and Cobra's website has a $19 and a $79 headset. I find that the reception of the device is more than adequate for my needs, but if you need a microphone/earphone then you should probably look at the Motorola MR350R which also has the benefit of using a USB charging port vs. a proprietary charger.Want Cobra Micro Talk 2 Way Radio 20 Mile With Naoo Channels - Cobra CXT280 Discount?
Good size, good sound, enuf range, rechargable. If you buy anything more expensive then this, it had better be magical. There good toys but not good for anythig else. Don't even reach 1/2 mile inside a house and barely that outside. Rechargeable Batteries don't last more than 6 hours. We had hoped to use it to communicate with my dad but they are only toys and unreliable for real communication.I assumed that the 22 mile range was over hyped but did think it would do at least 5 miles disappointment!Saturday, May 31, 2014

Sunlinq Portable Solar Panel Charger 6.5W 12V
Update: I tried recharging my laptop and it works but power must be off. I was also able to charge my iPad but only with power off.
I guess this will work on most gadgets as long as the power is off. I am curious whether I should get a voltage regulator. I don't know if my gadgets or the Sunlinq will stop trying to charge once the batteries are 100%. For now I will just watch carefully.Item arrived rapidly and I have charged numerous items including Garmin 410, Ipod, battery packs and cell phone and this Solar Panel is amazing. Charges rapidly and without any problems at all. Item is made of strong materials and should hold up very well when backpacking. Wish I had discovered this long before now.

Dometic 3308046.014 Polar White Penguin Shroud Assembly
CharlesLost the A/C cover while on a trip to the desert. Being that this was an older RV, I couldn't find an exact one like the one I lost. Had to go to Dometic to find the new part number. Different RV's come with different color covers and each color is a different part number. Once I figured that out, I went with the cheapest one and it fits perfect. Instructions were easy to follow and I saved about $150 doing it myself.

I am so pleased with the part. The old AC cover on my motor home was a solid plastic. The new one seems to be fiberglass, and is much more flexible. Goal Zero 12401 Nomad 13.5M Solar Panel
For the review part: For whatever i want to purchase i do A LOT of investigation in advance (Youtube videos, (amazon) reviews, forums, blogs) and always want to spend my money on the ONE best option available. This only works in theory (at least for me...), in practice i nearly always end up in ordering two or more items, because i simply can't decide between them.
The solar panel was supposed to power a Galaxy Tab 7 (battery = 3,7v * 4000mah= 14,8wh), a HTC Desire HD (3,7v * 1230mah = 4,5wh), some portable USB Speakers ( unfolded!
I took my two panels, my USB stuff and a multimeter outside on a semicloudy day (which is pretty much "standard weather" where i live).
Both panels were lying flat on the ground, with no shadows and partly cloudy sky. Both panels delivered about 18V (sunlinq 17 and goal zero higher with 18-19V) with no load. When switching the multimeter to Amp measurement was when my jaw dropped. GZ: 0.04A and Sunlinq: 0,5A (* 12V). Tilting the GZ panel towards the (non visible) sun though increased output to 0,138A. Tilting the sunlinq towards the sun is tough, because its similar to truck canvas and folds together too easy. Did not improve output by much anyhow...
To make it short: Both panels fell short in delivering the necessary power for my needs and my weather conditions. The Sunlinq did perform better on this partly cloudy day, but still i needed the whole day to charge the Anker2! It might work for me, but most likely i will upgrade to a 20+ watt panel with CIGS cells.
What i liked about the nomad:
The formfactor when unfolded (folded it's quite a brick)
The looks (designed in the US)
Quality seemed alright (made in China)
What i disliked:
too bulky when folded (in comparison to the sunload panel)
danger of breaking (Manual says NOT to bend and NOT to walk on the panel because of the non flexible solarcells The sunlinq feels softer, more like a tarpaulin). That's propably why they throw in an empty pack in the commercial video.
I do not want to carry a multimeter all day, only to find the correct angle for this panel to perfom. That might be the reason why mono cells are installed on roofs with special calculated angles. This is where they perform best.
weight in comparison to the sunlinq / in relation to it's performance
4.7mm special connector (SAE on the Sunlinq is motorcycle standard)
Output of the USB out not clearly declared (GZ-Website says 5V and 0,5A, printing on panel says 5Watt bad transformation? or bad translation?). Did not even get the 0,5 out though, when it was cloudy.
The Sunlinq panel is technically identical to the Brunton, Motomaster, Me2 and Sunload panels , as there is only one company which builds/"prints" these CIGS cells ("global solar" in Tucson and Berlin). Differences are only connectorwise.
In a perfect world Goal Zero would use CIGS cells for their future products
Hope this helps (pretty time consuming as i am native german and have to think twice before i write sth. in english, but i benefit a lot from american reviews and thought i'd share a "kind of" objective review).
Update 6/16/12: Got myself 2 higher rated panels for comparison: The P3 with 30wp and the sunlinq 25wp ("sunlinq 5").
First impression:
The P3 is about 2-3 times thicker than the other sunlinqs (12wp and 25wp). Apart from that, there is no big difference (in performance) at all. The only difference technically is a much higher open circuit voltage for the p3 (28V!!!), which does require a (MPPT?) charge controller as an extra investment. So all in all it depends on whether you are willing to pay nearly double the price for a ridiculous amount of extra performance, a 2yr warranty and a military tag, or not.If you are wondering whether or not to get this, go ahead and try it. This solar panel is one tough little cookie. I have this solar panel as part of the Goal Zero Sherpa 50 adventure kit. The panel folds up nicely and is easy to carry. I took it to Afghanistan with me this year, and it still works good. Sure, it has a few scratches on the panels here and there, but it hasn't affected its performance to date. This panel has fallen over due to wind onto my concrete porch floor and did not break. It even fell from my truck (4 feet) onto the driveway and survived!!
I can charge my Sherpa 50 watt battery in about 1 and 1/2 days with it.
GO ahead and buy it!!
Buy Goal Zero 12401 Nomad 13.5M Solar Panel Now
This is my third Goal Zero purchase and I was pleased and surprised to find that the output measure 20.1 watts when measured (without load) in direct September sunlight in southwest Missouri. I purchased this unit as a more powerful addition to the Nomad 7 which I use when backpacking to charge my cell phone and GPS. This unit has twice the panels of the Nomad 7, is still light weight and folds compactly for storage in my backpack. Like the Nomad 7, the Nomad 13.5M has grommets to attach it to the backpack to allow charging while on the move.I did not see the connection to directly attach the Guide 10 or Guide 10 Plus battery packs that are the mainstay of the Nomad 7; but in addition to the standard USB port for general electronic device charging it does come with the plug to directly charge the Escape 150, a standard 12 V. auto plug connector, and a connection to chain connect other Goal Zero panels. I plan to contact Goal Zero to see what options are available to connect the Guide 10 battery packs to the Nomad 13.5M or to see if I've simply overlooked the obvious connection.
I haven't taken this panel into the woods yet but I have placed it on the dash and used it to charge my android via the USB and the 12 V car charger connection as I drive home from work. Everything I've looked at so far on this unit suggest that it charges at least twice as fast as the Nomad 7 which was my first Goal Zero purchase. I'm very pleased with all the Goal Zero products I've purchased to date.
I also have to say a good word about the customer support I received when my Escape 150 didn't perform to expectations after the first couple weeks of use. I sent an email to the support line and received a prompt response with some special instructions to reset the battery. The instructions worked great for the next charge but the problem came back a week later. A second email to the company letting them know that the problem had returned was all it took and they sent a replacement battery. No hassle, no arguments, and no waiting for the bad battery to be returned or shipping charges. Even though I was initially uneasy and concerned that I experienced a problem with the Escape 150 immediately after purchase the excellent customer support convinced me that this was a company that stands behind their products and that I could trust. As a result of this customer service I now own the Nomad 13.5 and the Goal Zero Boulder 15 solar panel in addition to my previous purchases.

I purchased this solar panel because of the size and power output. I was happy when I received it and then upset when it didn't have all the outputs listed. NO SOLAR OUTPUT 6.5Product was listed as having this output (compatible with goal zero guide 10 plus battery chargers I also purchased) The product technical specs listed are for the Nomad 13, not the Nomad 13.5 (an older model). I contacted Goal Zero (who sells this) and Amazon (who lists this incorrect information) and informed them of the mistake. I had to send mine back and order the Nomad 13. Still waiting on a refund for the Nomad 13.5 I thought they would change the listing for this after I informed them of the mistake, but I see they haven't. Be aware at the time of this review the technical specs are still listed incorrectly. The only outputs on this is 12v and USB .5amp.
The Nomad 13 has:
USB 1 AMP
SOLAR OUTPUT
CHAIN CABLE
12V
The Nomad 13.5 has:
USB .5 AMP
CHAIN CABLE/12V
CHAIN INPUT
When I say chain I mean a cable to connect more than 1 panel together for shared power.
A final thought, I wish the 13.5 had worked, the 13 is only 2 panels and a little larger, the 13.5 is smaller.
Want Goal Zero 12401 Nomad 13.5M Solar Panel Discount?
I bought two of these panels as part of a backpacking / camping solar setup to charge my phone, iPod, GPS, laptop, etc. I also integrated these into an emergency power kit to charge a 12v Deep Cycle Marine battery to power my HAM radio. So far, the panels have performed flawlessly; providing all the power I need to keep my mobile electronics and radio running completely free of the grid.
The panels are very compact and fold up neatly. They can be chained together and Goal-Zero makes a ton of different connectors and adaptors to ensure that you can recharge or power nearly anything you need.

Sony DCC-E345 Car DC Adaptor with Selectable Voltage Switch
- Powers a CD or MD player through a car cigarette lighter
- Selectable voltage switch: 1.5, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0 volts
- Plug case supplied; cord length is 1.5 meters (5 feet)
- Unlimited power while commuting or playing at the park
- Essential accessory for using your personal CD or MD player in a vehicle
It does do a fine job of creating power, and I suppose for the price you can't really ask for a lot of internal filtering. So... the bottom line is that it's a fine product if the aforementioned limitations either don't apply to you or don't bother you.

I bought this to replace the original adapter I got with a Sony CD car kit 13 years ago, and was very pleasantly surprised by the improvement in quality. The cord is longer to avoid pulling, and is protected by a thick rubber exterior. The orginal cord I had was thin, and while it lasted 13 years, it finally snapped clean off. This current version of the adapter is much more rugged. I was way way wrong! Not only did both chargers flake out after less than 2 weeks of use, but the car charger almost caused a fire in my car! I dont know if the random weirdness my phone now has about it was cause from the charger shorting out, but I can tell you that these products are dangerous and should be avoided!
The charger got so hot that it was almost to hot to pull out of the outlet, and caused my truck to smell of burnt plastic and electronics for nearly a week!
It was on the brink of catching on fire!
Please stay away and spend a little extra money on a name brand. I did after this happened and have not had an issue since. So to me that ruled out my vehicle outlet as the culprit.
And please please dont buy this for your teenagers cause Lord only knows what would have happened if this had happened to them.
