Piece of crap that broke right away. The plastic part that covers the mini-usb came off and the wiring is all exposed. It actually still works, but not for long as it's only being held together by a tiny piece of exposed wire.

Interphone F5 Stereo Bluetooth Motorcycle Headset with 6-Way Intercom Conference and FM (Twin Pack)

I bought the F5 mainly for the bike to bike intercom feature. Shipping was great got the F5 in 3 days. Out of the box the F5 feels like a quality product. I was expecting installation to be a little difficult. I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy the units installed. I put them on two helmets in under 30 minutes. Both F5s were paired right out of the box. My girlfriend and I took the F5s on a test ride. We both ride Harleys with no windshields. I could easily hear until the speed got up to around 55 mph. The speakers could be louder. Over all I am very pleased with the F5. Easy to install and easy to use. Only down side is the speakers need to be louder.

After using the F5 for a few days I am very disappointed with the battery life. Streaming music or using a cell phone with the F5 I am getting less than 1 hour of use time before the battery dies. A lot shorter than the advertised 11 to 12 hour use time the unit is suppose to provide. I dont know if I have a unit with a bad battery or if this is the average use time. I am waiting for a response from Interphone. Hopefully it is a battery issue and not normal performance of the F5.

The battery was bad in one of the units. Interphone replaced the unit within a week and it is working as advertised. I was very pleased with customer service at Interphone.

I bought three of these for my friends and one for myself. Going on group rides are so much better now with the F5, instead of having to guess what your ride buddy is trying to say. Daily commutes are better as well with FM radio and music streaming from a Bluetooth device.

Intercom works well. The only issue I have found was reconnecting to streaming music on an Android phone after exiting intercom mode. This issue was resolved after updating to the latest firmware on the F5.

Usage with iPhone:

I am able to make calls, receive calls with spoken caller ID, have text messages read to me (iPhone 4S/5), send text messages (iPhone 4S/5), control music play back, most anything with Siri, and now with iOS6 turn by turn directions.

Tip on how to use Siri (iPhone 4S and 5):

While in phone mode select the down button once and about 2 seconds later you will hear Siri's tone. Say anything you would with Siri and do not press any buttons, Siri will know when you have stopped speaking and process your request.

Defiantly can tell this is a quality product just by holding it. I have ridden through some heavy rain and did not experience any issues. The F5 is covered with a one piece of rubber that makes it water proof.

At the beginning I had issues using the F5 because my cold weather gloves were too thick, and I unable to feel buttons. I was pressing the wrong buttons and getting distracted from the road. I would recommend for the first week or two to use summer gloves until you get familiar with the button locations.

Battery life is great on the F5 comes. I leave the wall charger at home and travel with a USB cable (included) which can be used for charging.

I had purchased the Interphone F4 last year. After much research, I thought it was the right option. The units worked great the installation was easy. However, the connector is extremely delicate. It is very difficult to get the plug aligned to connect the mic/speaker cable and the charger cable. You have to remove the mic/speaker cable in order to plug in the charger cable. Bad design! Recently I experienced a situation where the mic/speaker cable would not make a good connection. Therefore the unit would not work properly or at all. I contacted the place where I purchased the unit. I was advised to contact the distributor. They advised me they were no longer the distributor and to contact the new distributor. Meanwhile, the F4 had been replaced by the F5 model. The new distributor did not have an F4 replacement. They only handled the new F5. After much correspondence with the seller and the new distributor, I finally received a replacement F4 module. Then the other module died as well from the same cause. So, rather than fight it any longer I bought the SENA SMH 10.

The Interphone worked well when it worked. But, if you get into a warranty issue, you may have a difficult time of it. I understand the connector on the F5 is improved. Not worth $500 to find out. The SENA is about $150 to $200 less money and works great.

I bought a cheap battery 6 months before I bought this one hoping that it would last me a year or soit didn't even make the 6 months. The MotoBatt is fast cranking and high quality. CTEK 56-674 Battery Charger

A long time ago (3 years whoa) I bought a ctek 3amp charger/maintainer and used it for my genset so it would always be ready to go (it's an autostart but does not have a battery maintainer). I was amazed at how well the battery was maintained by the little 3A charger.

I've had my 25000 for a couple years now and a few people have emailed me with questions I did not answer previously. I'll summarize them here

1 reliability like a charm. Unlike the 7000 series (7A), the 25000 (25A) series has an internal ducted cooling fan which only comes on during high current charging for long life.

2 featurs it has the desulphation mode like the other chargers, but can handle larger cells. Other than that it does NOT have the ability to select SLA (gel cells), wet cells, or marine cells

3 temperature sensor unlike it's smaller cousins, there are 3 wires at the end of the fixed cable (which does not work with their accessory system as it does not have the required connector) the 3rd wire is a temperature sensor designed to be held close to the battery during charge so that voltages are adjusted for cold or hot weather and battery temperature. This helps protect the battery from overcurrent or overcharge. To sum it up in one word its a very fast charger, and safe at the same time NOTHING like the old crank up the timer based on the voltmeter chargers.

Those where the 3 questions I was asked now everyone knows. BTWI just ordered another one of these as I loaned mine to a friend who uses ctek's smaller units and he was so impressed he gave me the money to buy a new one as he liked mine so much.

I later bought 2 of their 7002 series chargers these were 7 Amp capacity and had extra features for dealing with a wider range or chemistries like the spiracell optima batteries I use in many applications. I even installed the under $20 dash mount charger interface in a spare din opening in my dash it was a 30 minute job but gave me the convenience of a plug in for my charger without having to pop the hood and clip it on just plug the charger into the dash outlet, and it included a battery guage of blinking leds red for discharged, yellow for discharging, and green for full. They blink all the time and use very little power

Since amazon does not carry the 25000 I became involved in discussions with CTEK and was shipped a unit for evaluation of my battery banks that are paralleled from multiple 12VDC cells. the 25000's closest relative is the 7002 and it features many of the same "stairstep" leds for indication of how the charge is progressing.

At 25A, it is the most powerful CTEK charger to date, equivalent to about 3.5 7002 chargers and priced at about 3.0 7002 chargers, so it's more economical if you have a battery bank. I am very pleased that they kept the battery desulphating features that ctek is known for in the 25000. The extra current is nice to have when you have 4 100AH cells in parallel for a 400 AH battery bank that occasionally needs topping off or desulphating. Ctek has always been at the forefront of chargers and accessories to go with them they are rated for wet environments and mine have been rained on more than once without a failure. If you have multiple batteries such as an RV with 2 deep cycle 12VDC cells and 1 engine starting battery, this is the ideal charger when you find AC. And with 25A, it most likely can power your 12VDC low power devices without draining your battery bank. When I say MOST that excludes the microwave, big screen TV but includes the 12VDC lighting inside the RV and a small TV set. The advantage to you is when you pull into an RV park with AC power you can recharge your deep cycle cells and run the inside lighting off the CTEK 25000 at the same time with 25 amps of supply current.

I borrowed the flir microbolimeter from the lab becuse the unit gets warm, but checking the ctek connectors they stayed relatively cool for running a 25 A current through them. That's impressive in and of itself.

I would highly recommend this to RV users, solar users, or anyone with a battery bank of 12V cells in parallel. Its rated for 50-500 AH storage capacity and represents the top of the line in CTEK power chargers.

Charges fast and is smart enough to extend the life of my batteries. So called automatic chargers don't do the same things this one can do. The auto float is an awesome feature. Other chargers will continue to "cook" your battery.

I've used three other chargers and the "Multi US 25000" is the best! It saved three of my expensive AGM batteries. Sure, I wish it had a digital readout 'cause I like eye-candy but I'm not too lazy to put the volt meter on the battery(s). Nice heavy cables/clamps and soldered too. Temp sensor on the positive clamp. I do wish they had made the battery cable in such a way that I could reach further than 31 inches between the positive and negative battery posts (battery bank). You can charge up to 500 amp hours worth of batteries at a time.

I have used CTEK battery US3300's and never had a problem, as in most first runs probably just working out the bugs, as for the seller, not good customer service.

If you need a charger for your Sony Ericsson phone this is the one to get. You also get a car charger as well. I have had it for a while and had no problems. All the chargers charge as they are supposed to and dont charge slowly. My main complaint is the the wall charger is quite short, it would have been nice if it was longer.

The casing around the part that attaches to the phone broke on the first try. I do not recommend this even at a few bucks for shipping. I emailed the store (Bargaincell) to see if they will send a replacement and will post after if they replace the item or not.

The Exide has a 24 month free replacement warranty which is unique for deep cycle batteries. This is a hybrid which can also be used for starting and would be a good choice for a battery for a boat. I bought it for a RV as it provided good power for the space and it has the 2-year warranty.

Be aware that the true deep cycle Exide Nautilus Gold NG-31 battery has a 15% greater amp hour rating and sells on average for $160. Getting a battery for $50 less that provides 15% more power is what I will be doing when these die.

People have complained about the battery being shipped all the way from California to them and its not being properly packaged and receiving it damaged as a result. My experience was a little different. I live in California and the battery was shipped across the country from Pennsylvania. The carton was designed for shipping the battery and provided 1" of protection on all sides.

The battery was produced in May and arrived with 85-90% charge so I put it on a charger to get it to 100% charge level.

It does have both the standard battery posts and 1/4" studs for copper terminals depending upon what is already in place.

I ordered a second battery as I wanted both the ones for my camper to be identical. Second one arrived in a few days and was in perfect condition and of recent manufacture. No idea what the problems were in the past or their causes but at this point in time Amazon has the process under control for this product at least.

It should be understood that like most "marine" batteries it is not a true "deep-cycle" battery and should not be discharged more than 50% on a regular basis. It safely provides 50 AH for a trolling motor and not the 100 AH as one might expect. Deeper discharges will greatly shorten the life of the battery. At least for trolling this still provides about 10 hours of operating power for the average 50 lb. thrust motor.

Flooded acid deep-cycle batteries are not as shock resistant and have to be kept away from sparks and flames and they need to be kept upright and periodically topped off with distilled water. The other drawback to a flooded type battery (which people experience with their car's starter battery) is that they are affected more by low temperatures and lose more of power at temperatures below 40 degrees F.

I felt it necessary to chime in on this purchase as I researched to exhaustion for the right battery for my tent trailer. Per the specs I found this to be the bull I needed for worry free reliable energy, at the best price.My battery was dated as another reviewer mentioned, but was at %80 with no sulfication. In all my research in this there is a simple truth about batteries. Heavy is good. Heavy means high lead content, and this guy weighs 80 pounds. I use battery tender on it when in storage, and run a schumacher speed charger from the generator when needed. I get days out of it, and charges right back up. Great buy with free shipping! I take off one star for the date being old, but with an AGM of this caliber not too worried.

Looked around internet and locally for GEL type batteries for my 2001 Carver 406 motor yacht and the best deal was on Amazon. The batteries I selected have comparable specs to the very expensive batteries and have better specs than most in this group 31 size range. The delivery time from Amazon was very acceptable and arrived in very sturdy shipping packaging.

I hope to get at least 5-8 years of service but time will tell.

These shipped out of PA to my location on the west coast via UPS Ground so it took over a week for delivery. I actually bought these for a battery backup system so I like the fact they are sealed but I bought a Moeller 042214 battery box to put them anyways just in case they leak (which was a perfect fit). The fact that they come with dual battery terminals (the main car battery size posts but also smaller threaded posts are what I was interested in). The other bonus is they have a low profile nylon carrying strap built into the top of the battery. What I didn't really like was that I ordered these in June 2012 and the manufacture date was March 2011 so they are old for being sold as new. I immediately hooked them up to a Deltran battery tender to get them up to full charge.

I admit that I'm biased towards Midland radios, but as far as the GXT series, so far, these rock! The design is a bit more squared off than some of the others, which I prefer. These have a high quality construction feel and a nice addition over last years 760 series is the dust/water cover over the external speaker and mic jacks. The look and feel very solid and have a more professional look to them.

The sound quality and features are the same as the 760s as far as I can tell, so these match up very well if you're adding to another set. The display is a touch larger than last years models though and there has been a slight resdesign on the charger from the 760s though. Not sure why. These charge via connections on the bottom of the radios, vs the rear of the unit on older models. What the means is when you put them in the charger, they lock in place in order to charge via small clips on either side. It makes removing them with one hand a bit challenging, but I've found if you rock it to one side, it pops right out.

They are compatible with other Midlands and the range and sound quality is excellent. I feel they've increased the sound volume since the 760 series, and these deliver as well. I have an older 600 series set as well, and both these and the 760s, due to the longer antennas can absolutely receive and transmit further without breaking up and are much easier to hear. Our primary use is around ski resorts and when snowmobiling around our home. And yes, we are likely one of the few that purchase the GMRS license for the family as required to legally operate on the GMRS only channels.

I liked these so much I ordered another set to replace the aging 600 series. For the price, you absolutely cannot beat these.

1/11/13 Update: Unfortunately, I've exchanged the second set I've ordered twice. Maybe I'm a bit picky, but the two sets I've received so far have had screens that have been difficult to read unless you're looking up at it from and angle of the radio being tipped back and away from you. My first set doesn't have this effect. Had I not already had a set, I would have not known that there are differences, so really not a huge deal. I still consider these very good radios on their price point.

Purchased these walkies-talkies to replace some cheaper AAA battery units. Spent a fortune on batteries and did not have good reception on the previous radios. The Midlands are wonderful and because they are rechargeable will not have to buy batteries again. Good range and quality.

I had purchased these reading some good reviews. I did not need a super nice set but i wanted a good decent set of radios. I also liked the fact that headsets were included, which was a selling point for me. I bought these mainly because I am always running a machine around my property, and there is not much cell reception and i would not be able to hear my phone if it was ringing, and if the wife needed to get ahold of me she would be able to, without having to track me down and throwing a baseball or rock at me just to get my attention. ANYWAY these work but only are good for about 1/2 mile I tested them also in the winter so the leaves were down I live in the wood and not on a farm so it is very wooded and not so flat. I hope my experience will help someone when making a choice I WOULD NOT BUY these again. i would spend a little more time and money on a better set. But these are not garbage either, and do work well within the range of 1/2 mile. I am sure you could get a better range on a flat open surface. Also i did clock the milage so I am sure of the 1/2 mile.

I purchased this to charge mainly my samsung galaxy 3 phone. As an object, it is well designed and interesting. the underside has 4 holes which will light up when you move it to tell you how much power it's got. But the problem with that is it lights up not only when it's shaken, but when you move it. so if it is bouncing around in your purse or you move it from one place to another it lights up, using some minimal amount of power from the unit. I've used it a couple of times to charge up my phone. The last time was this morning, when the phone power was in the red, and the backup only gave me a 60% charge on my samsung. I know it does say "(one full charge for most phones)" as part of the description of the battery. i'm intersted to test it on the iphone.

Once I received it I thought it would be a great idea to have it around for my other portable devices like my ipod or ipad mini. But then realized that it wouldn't work on either unless i carried their respective cords around with me to connect. This backup comes with a usb to micro usb which works with most andriod phones but not apple products. so if you have an apple product you want to charge with this, then you have to keep in mind that you have to carry 2 cords around.

The cord that it comes with is shorter than what you normally get with a phone or other devices, but still 2' long. i think it could be much shorter and would be amazing if it was intergrated into the unit itself. i.e. the old le cie external hard drives.

i will be using this because i have it, but if i had the chance to return it, it probably would exchange it for something that would give me more than 60% on a charge.

This gadget gives about a 30 to 40% charge on an iphone 5 less on an ipad even when it is fully loaded.

It's also slow and definitely not worth the price.

Manufacturer said I must have gotten a lemon and was very nice about taking it back and authorizing a refund
