This product works and it matches the description given. It won't drain your car battery if you don't leave it plugged in when you aren't driving. That is just common sense though, because any auto accessory should be unplugged when you aren't driving. Not doing so can cause a fire (hey, its actually happened).

It charges my phone fast, doesn't hurt my car, and it was cheap.

I purchased this charger last summer and it worked fine for about 6 months and now it either won't connect at all to charge of I have to fidget with it to find a spot in the power port where the red light might come on. I'm buying a new one today...it definitely won't be this one.

Hoping that somewhat higher price would result in higher quality I was looking forward to receiving the BT 311. In addition, I knew that Blaupunkt is a German company so I was expecting a quality product.

Setting up the unit at home was easy enough. Once in the car, however, things were different. Our car is a Honda fit, a small, compact car, and by no standard a loud one. Still, the quality of sound was poor: at anything but full volume setting, it was very hard to hear; at full volume, the sound coming from the speaker had no bass, and had a crackling, irritating, sound, as if the volume was too high for the speaker.

I'm giving this product two stars: the software is good and the interface is user-friendly, but the speaker is quite poor. Car speakerphone producers need to realize that they don't need to be stuck in the under-$50 price-tag category customers would happily pay more for a high-quality, long-lasting, product.

Got this for my teen so that I can call her when she is driving, without worrying about her picking up the phone. It works fine for that purpose, although it kind of gets in the way on our steering wheel. Maybe it is just the shape of our wheel, but there really is no good place to put it where it isn't in the way, or difficult to reach.

I bought this for use in my 2011 Prius. Prii are not the quietest cars on the road yet I can hear calls clearly and callers report that they hear me just fine. I've even had to lower the volume during highway conversation. I had some initial difficulty positioning the phone as it interferred with my movements as I turned the steering wheel. Also it felt a bit weird speaking into a moving target while making hard turns. The solution for me was to mount it on to the handle above the passenger door. Since calls are answered with the push of a button that's easily located by touch, I don't have to take my eyes off the road at any point. I plan to buy another for my Honda Odyssey.

I wanted to like this so badly! But, it really let me down. Who wouldn't like the two-in-one feature of this unit? And, with all the new laws requiring hands-free phone usage (not yet in my state), I decided this lightning deal was the time to pick one up. Unfortunately, there is a buzzing sound whenever the speaker is on. I tried making calls, taking calls, call waiting, different locations, and every other type of test I could think of. Every time I made/received a call I could hear when the speaker turned on and the buzzing never went away. When there is no call, the speaker is silent. As I said, I wanted to like this, but I decided I could not live with that buzzing every time I was on the phone, so I am going to return it. The headpiece did not have the same buzzing issues, but it is a package deal. In case you were wondering, those I spoke with said the sound was good. And, I could hear them well aside from the buzzing. I was waiting for more reviews on the product to see if others had the same issues, but I can't wait any longer. Understood I may have gotten a lemon and could exchange it, but................

I also bought the "Jabra DRIVE Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone Retail Packaging Black" at around the same time. Callers said this one sounded a bit more "Tinny" than the Blaupunkt, but on my end there was no buzzing. I am going to test this one for another week or two and see if it works for me. But, there are plenty of reviews on this product for you to make your own decision. Good luck!

I bought this bluetooth headset to use with my new LG Lucid phone. It synched up with no problems and has been working great so far. There is a power button on it as well as volume control, which is nice. The size is great, not too big or too small, and it's a comfortable fit in my ear. The only reason I gave it four stars is that I am a little disappointed in the sound quality. My previous bluetooth device was a little bit clearer. But for the price, you can't beat it.

Have had no problems with product. It is everything it was advertised to be. It works great with my Droid Bionic. The only problem I have had is from putting it in my pocket and having it calling the last person that I had dialed.

There are several sellers of this on Amazon. I specifically chose the more expensive HBM-260 as the seller was amazon.com and it said retail packaging. It arrived in a little plastic bag with the manual. No LG retail packaging, no cord for charging. Pretty disappointed. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I can't really give my dad a plastic bag, and tell him where to get a charging cable.

Contacted Amazon support and they gave me 50% off the purchase price. Not worth sending it back at this point unless it ends up not working. I guess I will keep this for myself, I should have a cable sitting around that can charge it. Unfortunately this will end up with me going to a big box store to get him another one. Which is exactly what I wanted to avoid in the first place.

This is my first bad experience with Amazon. The customer service agent was courteous and helpful. There is not much she could really do other than offer me a return and or refund, since they are not in stock anymore.

On a side note, this review is being left on a different seller than the one I bought from. I can no longer get to the link that has Amazon as the seller. They are all of a sudden "Out of Stock", and I can't get there.

Though this is a wonderful mattress made from durable, non-stretch material, the fact that it is only possible to fill it from a fully charged Ni-Cad battery is a serious design flaw which needs to be addressed, in my opinion. I've had the mattress for about a year and inflate it for frequent guests and to put in our tent for camping. I love it in theory. The mattress itself is rugged and comfortable and in the beginning inflated quickly. Unfortunately, the fact that a Ni-Cad battery has "memory," coupled with the fact that one cannot simply plug this unit in if the battery is low, means that the battery will not maintain a full charge anymore. It would be helped by two things: 1) The battery inside the blower could be upgraded to a lithium cell, which is not adversely affected by partial charges. 2) The electric blower motor could be modified to allow the transformer to plug in when filling (in the event of a dead battery). It is easy to let the air out of a mattress, but I have been frustrated on more than one occasion when the battery had been in the bag too long and wouldn't fill the mattress. Then we had to either plug in the blower until it charged (hours) or get light headed blowing the mattress up manually. If this gets fixed, I'll buy the nest iteration or the upgraded blower.

I bought this air bed because I was going to a weekend trip to my grandparent's campgrounds. The air bed came quickly and I didn't open it until I got to the campgrounds. Boy, that was a mistake. The batteries had to be charged for at least an hour before I could get enough juice to pump up the air bed. That was my only complaint, but that was kind of my fault for not trying it out before I go somewhere that doesn't have easy to access electrical outlets. I should've brought a car AC adapter. But overall great air bed for camping or sleepovers.

Received this item the other day, and based on previous reviews immediately plugged the charger in overnight. The next day checked both inflation and deflation and everything worked fine. It was very quick and simple. Then I refilled the mattress and left it up a couple of days and it lost no air at all and indeed is very comfortable. I really like how it folds up into the attached bag very easily. Will now take it camping for a few days and am looking forward to the comfort I experienced here at home. Any problems and I will add them to this review, but I really feel that I have purchased an excellent product, well worth the extra money for both the durability, comfort, and ease of use.

I ordered 2 of the twin size and 2 of the queen size for family camp outs. I have purchased others, even expensive ones and have been disappointed. These air beds are simply wonderful.... you just charge the pump, when ready, insert pump with end marked inflate and in seconds your bed is ready....when ready to deflate, just reverse process... bed deflates in seconds. flat enough to put right back into the carrying case it came in.

Wonderful firm bed ready in seconds... my grandsons use theirs also for Friday movie night sleepover in the living room and they hold up beautifully!

We ordered this bed for my sister's b-day at first. But ended up opened it before giving to her, cause my kids were curious how the built in pump works. Pulsetech Xtreme Charger X2 100x200 X2

I bought this charger / maintainer / de-sulfator mainly as a result of a very positive performance review of this unit by "Auto Restorer Magazine". I had been searching so long for a maintainer that de-sulfates, but was unsure if it was just a gimmick. Of the two different brands that they reviewed, both with rave reviews, my opinion was this one was the most user friendly. I was so happy with the first unit I purchased, that I bought a second unit a couple weeks later.

I do recommend purchasing at least one 25 foot extension lead,(I purchased 2 along with my second charger).

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Now, if only I purchase a third.....

First of all it will not charge a dead battery battery must have at least 7 volts, which only means you have to put your battery on a standard charger for an hour or so and then put this charger on.

Second it states it is supposed to desulfate batteries / restore them I have yet to confirm this after charging 7 different batteries

third for some reason it does not like interstate batteries I tried 2 of them and it would not work on them unless I went through a few differnent steps

forth I tried 2 different dry cell batteries would not charge either on

fifth on deep cycle batties it took over 7 days to charge it up after a full charge I put it back on a week later and showed only a 50% charge

It might be fine for maintaining batteries and I like the fact I can charge 2 batteries at the same time would I buy it again no. The reason is I wanted a charger that would desulfate my batteries and this one does not perform that function, or at least to my satisfaction. I was trying to avoid spending big money but you get what you pay for.

I would not recommend this charger unless you just wanted a trickle charger

update: 1/17/13 product states 14+ volts but only charges up to 13. I have tried 6 different batteries and it has not worked an any of them. As soon as I put them in my truck they went dead. The starter would not even ingage. This charger brings them up to what it calls a full charge but when I put on my Yuasa YUA1200901 Smart Shot Battery Charger it says they are not fully charged. I will be using my Smart charger on the 6 batteries that this charger would not charge and see if there is a difference. I will update this review in 3 days

Why both stations worked fine on my car, neither station worked on my Honda ST1300 motorcycle. Hooked this up to my ST1300 that has been connected to a Battery Tender Plus 24/7 when not riding and all it would do is one cycle of the desulfating lights and Charge light, then the Test light would come on and all the lights except ON would go dark. Then another single cycle and test light would come right back on and all lights except ON would go dark again, 1 second of the Charge light on, 5 seconds off. I might have thought this was a maintenance charge except the X2 started at 75% and after 5 days of being connected still showed 75%. And there is one of the shortcomings of this charger, for the relatively high cost it's lights tell you nothing. It's questionable desulfating cycle is really it's only claim to fame, other than that there is nothing really exceptionable about these Xtreme chargers to justify their cost.

Its a true delight to get to write such a positive report. This charger will charge/desulfate/ and maintain any 12 battery from gel cell jump packs, AGM spiral cells, ridingmower, ATV, to car, truck and RV batteries and will actually restore them to a higher capacity as well as make them last much longer. For 24 volt applications you can use two of these chargers. I run a battery shop for a large maintenance facility and since we started using these products several years ago, we continue to save thousands of dollars every month using Pulse Tech chargers (bigger commercial units using the same technology). This is the only charger I have found that actually breaks up the lead sulfate crystals -which form on the lead plates when a battery sits at a less than full charged state. (All lead acid batteries do this). Its these deposits of lead sulfate crystals that keeps the battery from delivering current and excepting a full charge. I have 3 of these chargers at homethey come in different colors (red, yellow, green and blue and a dual charger version). They are all electronically the same so buy the cheapest one you find.

In a world where things claim to "work better" or "make things last longer"this is the rare exception where the product actually does what it says and does it well. These results can be fully verified though empirical testing. Used regularly you should expect to easily get 6-10 years out of a battery rather than the often normal 2-4 years. This will quickly pay for the charger. I cycle it through all our batteries (at home) 3 or 4 times a year to keep them charged, de-sulfated and ultimately lasting longer. If you have access to a battery conductance tester (found in large automotive shops) which tests batteries for capacity and cranking amps, you can test a battery and then go use this pulse tech charger. You can then measure how it restores the battery to a previous higher capacity. It will often bring back a really weak battery to fully operation status allowing you to get a couple more years of use out of it. Its rare that I am able to recommend a product so hardily, but it works well and you will be happy with not having to buy replacement batteries for your equipment so often. Expensive gel batteries in my sailboat unexpectedly failed to hold a charge, and this charger was purchased in the hope that it could resurrect them with its patented pulsing charge. In a word, it failed. It did sense and indicate that the batteries could not be recharged, but that was the reason I purchased this charger in the first place, so I cannot say whether or not, under different circumstances, that it wouldn't perform as advertised. I'll keep it as a trickle charger (another use advertised by the manufacturer), though a dedicated trickle charger could have been purchased much more cheaply. Given its construction and features and giving it the benefit of doubt, I rated it 3 stars.

The radios by themselves are good, but be careful to read the fine print. The first time I went to use the radios one of them didn't have a full charge on it. No problem, I just used AA batteries. Then we realized we could barely hear each other through the headphones even with the radios turned to max volume. I thought it might be the headphones, but they were very loud when plugged into a friend's radio made by a different company. Midland blamed it on the headphones anyway, but they were not covered under the warranty. So I didn't use the radios again for a few months until we went on another trip and I made sure to place the radio on the charger a day early this time so it would have ample time to charge. Same problem one radio didn't take but half a charge. I contacted Midland on Friday explaining my situation, they got back to me on Wednesday to say there was probably an issue with the battery pack (No duh). I emailed back around 10:30 am and said I figured that much, but how do I correct it. They got back to me on Thursday night saying I needed to buy another battery pack because they are not covered under the warranty either. So what is covered? Turns out not much, not the headphones, not the battery packs, not the charger, not the adapter and not even the antennas. In short if all you need is just the radios and there isn't a problem with them, the radios are OK, but heaven help you if there is a problem with them. It will take forever for someone to tell you that's not covered under the warranty. That large 3 year warranty logo needs to include an even larger asterisk. Radios get 5 stars, everything else including the warranty and service gets 1 star for an average of 3 stars. If I need to buy all new accessories to replace all these defective ones I just bought, maybe I should consider a different brand radio.

Either I've ended up with the only 10 radios Midland has made that were junk, or the other reviews are from Midland employees. My radios just won't hold a charge, stop working after 2 days or start to sound like I'm talking under water.

We purchased 2 pairs of these for a video production. At first I couldn't believe how good these were. The range, albeit not a million miles like they say, was VERY VERY good! Several miles for sure. Very impressive. So we bough 3 more pairs the same week. But before the second set showed up, the first 4 started flaking out. The batteries wouldn't hold a charge. I thought they were being overcharged, but the book says to keep them on the charger when not in use.

It wasn't 2 weeks before the other ones started flaking out on us too.

Out of the 10 radios there are only 1-2 that appear to work without any issue. For the life of me, I don't see how these have gotten such great reviews since we've only had 10-20% reliability at best with the ones we've purchased.

I don't have any recommendations for any other radios since this is our first radio purchase. These have so much potential, but fall very very short! If they would just stay on and hold a charge for longer than 30 minutes, I would be in love with them because the reception/transmission signal is simply incredible (when working)!

In the past I have taken walkie talkies to the State Fair and they were unusable because of all the chattering going on. I brought the Midland GXT1000VP4 radios to the fair and randomly selected a channel and privacy setting. They worked perfectly. Not one other person broadcasted on the same channel (200,000 people in attendance). We could hear each other crystal clear. You either get a crystal clear signal or no signal at all with these radios; there is never any static. They lasted the whole day on one charge and the battery indicator still read full.

The only complaint that I have is when putting them on the charger, it takes a bit of menuvering to get the charge light to go on...and I have had it go off after about 15 minutes before. In that case I reseated the one radio again and the light stayed on for the whole charging period.

I recently purchased these radios after our 2-year old Motorolas were stolen. We use the radios exclusively for RVing (communicating between driver and spotter when maneuvering). The audio on these radios is MUCH better than the previous Motorolas. Menu functions seem to be a bit more intuitive as well.

The only negative I have found is "range", or lack thereof. Midland advertises 36 miles. (Yeah, I know, that's on a straight shot with nothing in between, but how many of us really use them under those conditions!) In the real world we were able to transmit about 1 mile.

I knew this limitation going in, so I wasn't disappointed.

The radios work well for our purposes.

We got these to use as an intercom between the house and workshed. When they work they are fine, but sometimes they don't work. One will go dead, and then if you keep turning it on and off enough times it start up again. But since you don't get a warning when it goes dead you can't rely on being reachable unless you keep checking to see if it is still on.

I wish I had saved the packaging to return them. They aren't sufficiently reliable to keep using.

We haven't used the advanced features, just because we don't trust the radios to carry them anytime we might need them.

This is the perfect thing to bring on a trip to visit family, or anywhere else you don't expect to have enough outlets to charge your devices. The one odd thing is that the packaging contains instructions that claim that you can only charge 1 USB device at a time, which is odd for a travel device that has 2 USB outlets. I didn't notice any issues charging 2 but if this is a big concern for you, you might want to investigate further before buying. Overall, I'm glad I own this; it is compact and useful, and the folding plug makes it very easy to pack.

I love this little device. It provides power extacly when I need it. Lucky for me the tip that plugs into the computer to charge is the same tip that I need to power my device. The only con would be it takes the same amount of time to charge, as a regular dc adapter, so it is not a quick fix. But it sure beats the no power blues.

I bought this to replace an identical white mili that I loved and lost. When it arrived, the lights did not work properly showing it was charging as it should. Has never worked right. Threw it in the trash today. Should have returned it immediately. My fault, my lesson.

I have the Palm Pixi and when I plugged it into the wall with this charger and tried to use my phone it went crazy! Sometimes it would register that I was touching the screen in three places at one time but mostly it registers about one inch to the left of where I'm really touching making it very hard to unlock the phone. My biggest concern is it might dial a emergency call when I'm just trying to unlock it. As soon as I disconnect the charger the phone works fine, in fact it works fine while charging on the palm charger that came with it and chargers designed for other similar smart phones just not with this charger. The charger charges the phone just fine but don't expect to be able to use the touch screen while doing so. I haven't yet use the car charger yet so I can't say it's any better or worse but my expectations are very low.

The Exide has a 24 month free replacement warranty which is unique for deep cycle batteries. This is a hybrid which can also be used for starting and would be a good choice for a battery for a boat. I bought it for a RV as it provided good power for the space and it has the 2-year warranty.

Be aware that the true deep cycle Exide Nautilus Gold NG-31 battery has a 15% greater amp hour rating and sells on average for $160. Getting a battery for $50 less that provides 15% more power is what I will be doing when these die.

People have complained about the battery being shipped all the way from California to them and its not being properly packaged and receiving it damaged as a result. My experience was a little different. I live in California and the battery was shipped across the country from Pennsylvania. The carton was designed for shipping the battery and provided 1" of protection on all sides.

The battery was produced in May and arrived with 85-90% charge so I put it on a charger to get it to 100% charge level.

It does have both the standard battery posts and 1/4" studs for copper terminals depending upon what is already in place.

I ordered a second battery as I wanted both the ones for my camper to be identical. Second one arrived in a few days and was in perfect condition and of recent manufacture. No idea what the problems were in the past or their causes but at this point in time Amazon has the process under control for this product at least.

It should be understood that like most "marine" batteries it is not a true "deep-cycle" battery and should not be discharged more than 50% on a regular basis. It safely provides 50 AH for a trolling motor and not the 100 AH as one might expect. Deeper discharges will greatly shorten the life of the battery. At least for trolling this still provides about 10 hours of operating power for the average 50 lb. thrust motor.

Flooded acid deep-cycle batteries are not as shock resistant and have to be kept away from sparks and flames and they need to be kept upright and periodically topped off with distilled water. The other drawback to a flooded type battery (which people experience with their car's starter battery) is that they are affected more by low temperatures and lose more of power at temperatures below 40 degrees F.

I felt it necessary to chime in on this purchase as I researched to exhaustion for the right battery for my tent trailer. Per the specs I found this to be the bull I needed for worry free reliable energy, at the best price.My battery was dated as another reviewer mentioned, but was at %80 with no sulfication. In all my research in this there is a simple truth about batteries. Heavy is good. Heavy means high lead content, and this guy weighs 80 pounds. I use battery tender on it when in storage, and run a schumacher speed charger from the generator when needed. I get days out of it, and charges right back up. Great buy with free shipping! I take off one star for the date being old, but with an AGM of this caliber not too worried.

Looked around internet and locally for GEL type batteries for my 2001 Carver 406 motor yacht and the best deal was on Amazon. The batteries I selected have comparable specs to the very expensive batteries and have better specs than most in this group 31 size range. The delivery time from Amazon was very acceptable and arrived in very sturdy shipping packaging.

I hope to get at least 5-8 years of service but time will tell.

These shipped out of PA to my location on the west coast via UPS Ground so it took over a week for delivery. I actually bought these for a battery backup system so I like the fact they are sealed but I bought a Moeller 042214 battery box to put them anyways just in case they leak (which was a perfect fit). The fact that they come with dual battery terminals (the main car battery size posts but also smaller threaded posts are what I was interested in). The other bonus is they have a low profile nylon carrying strap built into the top of the battery. What I didn't really like was that I ordered these in June 2012 and the manufacture date was March 2011 so they are old for being sold as new. I immediately hooked them up to a Deltran battery tender to get them up to full charge.
