Original Magellan OEM Power AC Adapter wall charger for Maestro 5310 and Roadmate 1700 GPS Navigato
- Brand New in Bluk Package
- Original Magellan Adapter
- Build in Dynamic IC Charge IC & Power fuse for rapid charging and over charge protection
- for Magellan Maestro 5310 & Roadmate 1700 GPS
(I use it with my Magellan 1700. It has ample amps (the max) so it will charge fast.)Received quickly from the vendor. Plugged it in and it works well. I use it to plan trips inside the house prior to getting into the car. I find it a critical accessory since the GPS battery has a short life. This is a surprisingly good product. I have a very good GPS in my car, integrated with OnStar. I bought the Magellan so that I could plug it into a rental car after flying to Florida. I also bought the adapter so that I could program in the places I wanted to visit before I left home in Canada.
The Magellan was quite good almost as good as the one in my car, which cost about 30 times more. It is very easy to program and it is easy to read and hear in strange surroundings. Most of Florida is pretty simple to navigate on one's own but Miami is a nightmare for all but the cognoscenti. There, the Magellan was dead-accurate. I would have been lost without it. It saved my bacon several times.
My only quibble would be the geeky voice with a Spanish accent, but I guess that's the state of the art. Also, be careful programming the right options. If you "minimize freeways," Magellan can take you on a horrendous detour to save a two buck toll. Once I made this mistake once and realized the error, there was no problem.I purchased the Magellan OEM power AC adapter in August 2011 but didn't open the package until February 2012. The cord was enclosed but not the part that plugs in to the outlet. I contacted this company knowing too much time had lapsed to return but expected at least some response. Received no acknowledgement from them at all.

For iPod USB Travel Power Charger Adapter for Nano, Shuffle, 4G, Mini, Photo and U2
Unfortunately some electronics like the Creative Zen micro and the Motorola cell phone require that you use their chargers and do not permit this one to work. Silly but true. For other more items, this is a great way to save a few bucks and save packing space instead of hauling a separate charger for each piece of equipment.
I have only used it in the US (110 volts) although it says it works with current up to 250 volts. I cannot vouch for its function with other voltages.Opened it up and found vibration from shipping, or earlier, had broken PC connection for heavy capacitor. Plugging in without this connection may have destroyed other devices. It didn't work
I removed some parts for my parts box and called us even on this. Then I bought another unit elsewhere.
Buy For iPod USB Travel Power Charger Adapter for Nano, Shuffle, 4G, Mini, Photo and U2 Now
Works great and as expected. Great value for the money. This is my second charger and provides flexibility between my mini USB and regular USB devices.I bought this for a mini ipod I got for Christmas. The stores were selling chargers for 30.00and this was just a dollar. It works great and does the job. I love it.
Want For iPod USB Travel Power Charger Adapter for Nano, Shuffle, 4G, Mini, Photo and U2 Discount?
This is nice but wasn't exactly what I thought it was. My fault as I did not really read the description as I should have. What I am searching for is a charger for my iPod/iPad that has folding prongs. Storage space is very minimal as I need it at work and my tool box doesn't exactly have a lot of extra space for this and my tools.
Will continue to use at work until I locate what I truly need. Then hold onto it as a backup piece or use when I travel.

Black & Decker PAV1200W 12-Volt Cyclonic-Action Automotive Pivoting-Nose Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
1) Length of cord plenty of legnth. DON'T EVER GO FOR A WIRELESS AUTO VAC! The suction power dies, and eventually, you'll have 5 minutes of good suction per charge. The cord for this vac is too long and that's a good thing. Of course you'll need a cigarette lighter input, which all cars should have. I am able to reach the back of my Scion tC with ease and extra cord available. And if you know anything about tC's, they are small cars so you big car owners should have no problem at all.
2) Suction power Since this is a wired-type, there's no need to worry about loss of suction power. With 12V, this thing will clean up your car pretty nicely. For those stubborn pieces of dirt, hair, cloth, etc. that stick to your car fabric, the brush attachment does wonders.
3) Attachments It comes with three attachments a brush attachment, a rectangle-to-circle attachment to attach the brush, and a tube attachment to reach those hard-to-reach spots. This vac comes with a pivoting action end which is, in my opinion, genius. It really helps to access under the seats and under the side-ends of the back seats.
4) Convenience It's lightweight, and comes with a bag, so you can carry it around for travel.
All in all, this is the best auto vac solution. Don't worry about the price this thing is worth every penny.
I like this vac, but I can't say I love it. If the suction were a bit stronger, I'd be giving it 5*. Although it doesn't have the more powerful suction that I'd hoped for, it is still strong, and certainly much, much better than my previous auto vac. I will also add that I would probably do a better job when not holding the pocket cam in my other hand, so take that into consideration as well. That said, I am pleased with the performance and the features.
AIR WATTS= 11 Bowl Capacity= 11.8 oz.(350 ml)
CORD LENGTH= 16 ft. Replacement filter= PVF100
Volts= 12V 2 Year Warranty
The pivoting arm also has a smaller arm that extends out from the end if you choose to use it for the extra reach. While I was able to get the arm down next to the seats, it couldn't go all the way down, which is what I will use the hose attatchment for. The arm did excel at getting in between the rear seats as I could hold the unit at such an agle as to easily reach deep in between the seat and back cushion to get all the crumbs that get pushed there over time.
I haven't used the rounded brush yet, however the small brush that fits onto the very end of the pivot arm extender is very useful in that it helps agitate the debris in the carpet fibers giving a much better pick-up than using the arm alone. The hose I have used once, and it works fine, however I found that I lost a bit of suction with it attatched.
Emptying the unit is a breeze. You just flip up the lid, and dump it right into say, a plastic bag that you keep nearby as I did. The cord which plugs into a cigarette lighter wraps around the unit and has a clip on the end to keep it inplace. The 16 ft cord length is actually a very beneficial feature as I was easily able to reach the back of the car to vacuum the trunk. I like the fact that it's corded also, because it seems to me that the cordless models would have less power to begin with, and that power would decrease as it's in use; as well as the fact that you can only use them for a limited time before the need to recharge them. No such issues with a corded vac such as this PAV.
You also receive a neat carrying case that is roomy enough to fit the vac and all attatcments inside without having to cram them or figure out the secret to making them fit back in like some other items that come with cases often do.
There is no way to plug it in the home, and though I do see adapters that are marketed to use with this, the reviews on many of them say that they are not strong enough to power the vac. Originally, that was my plan, but I've since decided to just buy something else small messes in the home, ie a mini 2hp shop-vac.I will also post some pictures of the unit/accessories above as well.
**Update**7/27/11-I found another way to clean deep along both sides of the bucket seats up frontI went to WalMart to purchase a micro tools kitSHOP VAC MICRO-CLEANING that is actually for a shop vac that Shop-Vac 5895100 2.0-Peak Horsepower AllAround EZ Series Wet/Dry Vacuum, 1.5-Gallon I also just purchased-and sure enough, the attatchments fit on the Black & Decker too, as they're for any 1.25in hose. I also used the mini brushes to get into the vents and other tight spaces throughout the car. This discovery makes the Auto Vac even more useful. The kit is available on Amazon, but I checked Walmart online first, and found them in stock, as another reviewer said they were cheaper there. (If you do go to get the micro toolsthey're in the tools dept. by the shop vacsnot the vacuum aisle; or so they were in my area)It's the third vacuum cleaner I have experience with. First one was cheap and useless even it was plugged in cigarette lighter it never could pick up any dirt, the second was the same but wireless with 3 minutes of full suction and 2 minutes of slow death (30 min to recharge). I'm done with cheap (around $12) stuff. It was all wasting of money and I always ended up with brush cleaning. Even gas station vacuum cleaners with their nasty hoses never could done the job what I done with this fine product: Black & Decker PAV1200.
It was my first expression after I just started cleaning: "WOW!!!" and the same when I was done "Impressive!!!".
I came with two brushes, hose and adapter for hose connection. But it also has a nice feature as moving and extensible nozzle. You can adjust its position for your convenience and after you done you can fold it what makes whole unit is compact. If you look at the picture of cleaner you can see the red tip on the end of nozzle. That one is extensible to about 4-5". And its tinny so you can reach all slits.
I used one brush on this tip extending nozzle and I was done with cleaning of my minivan in 10 minutes reaching all spots including carpet mats, under pedals, under seats, between seats and decor. I got everything: fluff and hair with brush tip, dust and crumbs with cleaner suction which is pretty decent.
Cord is pretty long and easy to reel on back after you done.
Cleaner comes with nice bag with handle, so all parts including the unit you can keep together and it does not take to much room.
I Highly recommend this unit for everyone who got tired of search of decent vacuum cleaners and want to keep his car clean.
P.S. I cleaned with car engine running (did not want to waste my battery)Excellent item! I recently purchased a new BMW and was looking for a small, handy vac, that I could power/stow in the car, to pick up lint and dirt. Although the vacuum seems a little bulky at first, the nozzle extends to get between and under the seats. The attachments are nice, and the filter is easy to empty. For the price, it's a must have. This is the best handheld vac I have ever owned. Cord is long enough to reach from the cigarette lighter to the back of a Honda Odyssey. All tools store nicely on the unit or in the included carry bag. This vacuum uses the cylonic action to trap the dirt. This keeps the dirt out of the filter and makes for easy emptying. Excellent vacuum that you can store in your trunk.

Uniden GMR1235-2 12-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair)
- Pair of FRS/GMRS family radios with 22 channels (15 GMRS, 7 FRS) and up to 12 mile range
- Auto-squelch for reducing interference; channel scan/monitor for easily finding available channels
- Power with three AAA batteries--automatic power saving feature extends battery life
- Call tone and selectable roger beep; keypad lock feature to avoid changing settings
- Bundle includes two radios, batteries, reference guide, and pair of belt clips
First of all, forget about the manufacturer's claim of '12-mile' range. That is only possible under the most optimistic test condition (transmitting from one hill top to another with clear line-of-sight). In an urban environment, you are lucky if you can get one or two miles. With this limited range in mind, this walkie talkie set can still be very useful in many places (such as in a National Park, or a large shopping mall). The sound quality is quite decent similar to an AM radio.
Next, this thing is a battery-eater if you use disposable alkaline cells (three AAA per radio). The manufacturer claims an average battery life of '20 hours'. But again, this is under a special test condition of '5/5/90', which means 5% transmit, 5% receive, and 90% idle time. The device consumes different amount of current during different operation modes, as shown below:
While transmitting: 400mA
While receiving: 50-100mA (depending on volume level)
While idling: around 15mA.
If you do a lot of transmission, a set of alkaline cells is likely to run flat in less than two hours (because alkaline cells are very inefficient at high current). My advice is to buy some good quality AAA rechargeable cells, such as the Sanyo Eneloop or Rayovac Hybrid, to power those radios. That way, not only will you save money on batteries, you can even get longer run time per charge.
[Update on June 8, 2011]
I should add that this pair of walkie-talkie is still working well after 2.5 years, and I'm still using the same set of rechargeable batteries (Kodak Pre-Charged AAA) in them.

I bought a pair to see how they would work for a local communications net and they were great! Sure, they lack a lot of the fancy bells and whistles but they have range and clarity that some of the other hand-held radios in the net lacked. Some of the other members were so impressed, they wanted to know where they could get some. I'm buying some more now before these babies sell out, again!Good, basic communication option. Fairly long range, easy to use, batteries included, and good price. What's not to love?

Bought these as knock around radios for the kids so they didn't need to play with my nicer Motorola talkabouts. For the price these are excellent radios. They have been tested out to just under 1 mile over water (opposite sides of the local lake). The included batteries are kind of like the inkjet cartridges you get with your printer... just enough juice for you to test the product, but not enough for real work. Don't head into the field on the included batteries! A buddy and I hiked into a high mountain lake to fly fish with these radios and they were great for us to brag "fish on" when we were too far apart to see each other. At $10 each they were a guilt free purchase, even knowing they won't see daily use. Very happy with the quality and performance at this price point.Want Uniden GMR1235-2 12-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair) Discount?
The battery life is terrible. If you read nothing else in this review, know that. But first:Upon opening, the first thing you'll realize is that no matter how small you think they are, they are even smaller. They measure about 3 inches tall. Maybe 4.5 with the antenna. They are quite easy to grip though, and look and feel rugged enough to live through a few drops without an issue.
The sound quality in close proximity is great. Anything under 100 yards is very clear, even if you are going through brick walls and steel doors. I can hear my roommate just fine through 3 highrise apartment complexes. At distance, however, the quality breaks down quickly. No one expects 12 miles from a 2-way labeled as 12 mile capable, but 3 miles? 2 miles? Not likely unfortunately. If you get 1.5 residential area you should be thrilled.
The design seems rather straighforward, (volume up and down, channel up and down, power, scan, lock, squelch)The onlything I find odd is the placement of the belt clip. You need to remove it before you remove the battery cover. Makes replacing the battery a little more of a chore since the clip doesn't come off very easily.
Finally the battery life. This comes with 3 batteries for each radio. In the first use, our batteries lasted 4 hours. Now keep in mind, this was not constant communication. This was 90% standbye time. The manual says that after 2 minutes of non-use, the radios will switch to a power-save mode. That seems a little long to wait. They're fine for very casual use, but in any type of emergency situation I wouldn't be able to trust them. It's unfortunate, but I'm going to have to purchase my third set of walkie talkies simply because of the batteries.
Overall, it does fine for the cheap price. I didn't expect to much, but I'd look elswhere for a rechargeable unit if you need to rely on communication for anything critical. Those Uniden GMR1235-2 2-Way 12 Mile Radios are so compact, you can easily hold both in one hand (see my Customer Image). They are also very inexpensive (around $20 for a pair), so one may think of them as just toys for kids, But in fact they can be used by kids and adults alike provided that you start with the correct expectation.

I was skeptical about this item because it's so inexpensive that I thought, how good can it be? Well, it's marvelous. I ordered one about a year ago and it has worked wonders in my car, where I use my phone as a GPS. It lasted very well until my 4 year old nephew got hold of it and twisted it using the plastic part, which separated, so it could no longer be used (not his fault, he was just trying to look closely at it) so I ordered another one and it's still just as wonderful. In fact, I'm going to get another one for my husband, whether he likes it or not :-) It will fit just about any phone from an iPhone to a Galaxy Epic Touch, to an Evo it just expands to fit any phone. It used to be mounted on my windshield, but I've now put it on my dashboard. There are more expensive items out there, yes, but I can't see how they'd do a better job. One of the best buys I've made. Please be aware though that not all the car mounts you buy from this particular product link are like the one in the photo. I just ordered one from this site and it was the same KIND of thing, i.e. it was a car mount, but it was NOT the same one in the photo, and this arrived broken, poorly packed so make sure you examine the one you get. The arm on this one is shorter, so even if it wasn't broken, I still wouldn't want it. The one I originally got was from Boho Tronics and that one has quite a long arm so you can move the phone wherever you want. In my opinion, make sure you get from Boho Tronics as you can trust them that they'll send you this exact product. It's a really great accessory if you use your phone as a GPS.UPDATE: One of our employees liked it so much we got him one and I'm ordering yet another one or two for our company vehicles and I'm getting my husband one too. LOVE IT! And Boho Tronics is the best place to get this from cheapest and most reliable.

When I opened this item and started putting it together it is loose. I added some super glue to the back of the phone holder and now it is in place and I have no worries this will get the job done. Whistler XTR-440 Laser/Radar Detector Battery Operated with Built in Battery Charger with Blue Text
- Battery-powered radar/laser detector provides up to 15 hours operation on a single charge (power cord and rechargeable batteries provided)
- Provides 360-degree alerts for selectable radar and laser signals, POP mode alerts, and Safety Warning System alerts
- Blue backlit text display provides distinct visual confirmation of signals detected, signal strength, and indicates engaged modes of operation
- VG-2 cloaking technology makes you invisible to radar detector detectors; 3 City Modes and Highway Mode for reducing false alerts; dim/dark mode
- One-year warranty
The problem was that I could barely get to read the LCD screen on this device during daylight hours. The screen was impossible to read if the sun was high in the sky. The alerts and chirps work fine. It alerted me to the presence of a speed trap on multiple occasions. However, that only does you a little bit of good if you can't make out the words on the screen.
Another pet peeve is the "auto off" alarm. After 60-90 minutes, the unit turns itself off. However, the alert at this time is the loudest and most panicked alarm you'll hear from the device. It seriously scares you. I'd prefer a chirp every 10-15 seconds for a minute or two then an alert as it shuts off. Instead you get an ear piercing high pitched siren like alarm that seriously will startle you ever time.
So, I was not happy. Unit works well enough for a bargain unit under $100, however the poor screen quality made it a poor choice.Let me start out by saying that this unit has performed admirably at detecting radar, as did my prior Whistler unit.My primary reason for purchasing this unit was the battery feature. The stated 15 hour battery life was the main selling point.Unfortunately I am not getting 1/3 of this battery life despite using the recommended power saver settings. For this reason I could not recommend this detector.Save your money and go for a battery free Whistler Radar DetectorDetection is mediocre; that's par for the course for Whistler. Don't believe reviews that say that its detection range is on par with Passport. It's not. It's adequate, but not as good as a $500 detector. You get what you pay for.
The battery life is TERRIBLE. Try 45 minutes (!) of battery life compared to 8 hours with the 540. Sad, just sad. Both detectors feature illegible displays when put against daylight. "Periscope" LEDs do nothing to alert you, although max volume is fair enough when listening to music at relatively soft level.I have a new BMW with only one recepticle in the center console and did not want cords all around. It seems accurate, easy to use, the cord is thin so when plugged in I can easily close the console. The battery life I don't feel is very long, easy to recharge and you don't need to keep buying batteries. I'm certainly not an expert on radar detectors but have had Whistler products before, and have been satisfied. I also felt that for the price it is a great deal.

Power Bright APS1000-12 Pure Sine Power Inverter 1000 Watt continuous / 2000 watt Peak 12 Volt DC T
Be sure to buy the right gauge cable. A minimum of AWG 6 is required even for a short 2-3 foot run. The manual provides detailed instructions and accurate advice. You can download it from PowerBright's website.
If you buy a battery be sure to research the benefits of a AGM deep cycle battery, they are much safer compared to flood batteries. I recommend no less than 80Ah.
If you plan to run it from your car please consult an automotive electrician. The best feature about this inverter is the fans do not turn on until a significant amount of time and/or load are introduced.
Good, clean power. Strong build but the end panels flex when you tighten the battery connections so be careful.
I wish I had bought the larger model but this one keeps my dual-6v series batteries from draining too fast.
I will comment again in six mths. I bought this for emergency (quiet) backup power in my home. When you have reached the point of recognizing the geometry of current, you are well on your way to boring people to tears at a party or on the verge of needing a new pocket protector. Pure versus modified Sine is a difference that only a Solar Inverter sales person cares to expand on, nod your head in agreement and buy this incredible unit that provides exceptional performance in an attractive solid case.
What percentage of the voltaic energy being captured is lost in the conversion process gives indication of the unit's performance. The efficiency of this pure sine power inverter is at the top of the charts. Can it sustain the performance long term remains to be seen, but in the short run it has been impressive.
