This unit requires user mechanical and electrical skills to place it in an acceptable operating condition. It should not used 'as is' out of the box to provide power or charge batteries. The unit could damage connected AC devices and batteries due to poor or non existent quality control and assembly by the manufacturer. If you are looking for a 'start and go' generator then avoid this unit. If you don't mind some cleaning, adjustment, improving, modification, disassembly and reassembly then you can consider this unit worthy of your skills for a decent sale price. I inspected the unit for obvious mechanical problems and noted the 'room for improvement' issues before starting it. I used a break-in oil to gas mixture of 30:1 for the 2 stroke engine. The engine started easily on the third pull but was running rough and erratically after 15 minutes of operation. Disassembly of the carburetor revealed manufacturing debris and metal particles inside the passages, carburetor cleaner and compressed air solved those issues. Spark plug inspection showed fouling already, cleaned the plug and tested several more times, each time the plug fouled after running for 20 minutes or more. Replaced the plug with a Champion RN9YC (couldn't find a non-resistor plug) and the fouling issue stopped. So, cheap quality factory spark plug no good! Engine starts on the first pull now (after the choke pull) and runs smoothly. There is no screw adjustment on the carburetor for fuel/air mixture, an issue for rich air/fuel mixture fouling and piston carbonization if you live at high altitude (as I do). Put that on the to-do list to install a metering screw on the carburetor. Note: that spring loaded screw at the side and bottom of the carburetor is a bowl drain (grin :-p ). I tested the generator voltage outputs after getting the engine to run well and found 150 volts AC/ 30 volts DC, bad news for connected devices and batteries. The governor adjustment was set at 'good enough' allowing the engine to overspeed resulting in higher generator head voltage output. Hmmm, a test of patience at this point so far with this unit. I had to try different springs at various locations with the factory set holes on the governor arm to get good voltage output and engine RPM. The factory wiring routing and bundling for the generator head, spark plug, magneto, switches and voltage outlets was a joke, I dont think the wiring would have lasted for too long before shorting to the metallic parts from vibration and causing a disastrous problem. I installed grommets at the generator head case wiring hole (don't know or understand what the thinking was here, just a matter of time before the wires short to the case) and magneto wiring case hole, bundled and secured all the wires in a flexible sheath to prevent abrasion. The carburetor cover and air cleaner assembly is also noteworthy for having no screw stops to prevent overtightening and cracking the plastic, so I installed special oval head type inverted washers to prevent overtightening and provide plastic stress relief around the cover screw holes. The muffler was installed off center on the exhaust port due to bad welding positioning of the attachment bracket, fixed all that and stopped an intermittent exhaust leak and oil drip. Oh yes, I think a heat shield between the muffler and the gas tank would be good also (To-do list). Enough you say? Fortunately I have lots of patience and enjoy this type of work making a piece of equipment operate better than it came from the factory. The only thing I really dislike about this unit is having to remove and reinstall the gas tank constantly to get to anything underneath that needs servicing. I hope this review gives you some good insight about this unit.

Received this item fine, the All Power America APG3004D 1,200 watt 2 stroke gas powered generator. I could not start this, husband had a lot of trouble getting it to start. Once it started it ran very rough, we let it run for a time and tried to turn on a simple fan would not start. Husband is very good with mechanics and turned it off, looked it over and gave it another try. Fan still would not run. Called the company All-Power and they said I could return it no problem. I had to send an email with proof of purchase. First email I sent was not good enough, the proof had to be an attachment not a copy. Resent email and got confirmation it was ok that I would get a return authorization within 8-10 business days. Day eight I called and the rep was rude and told me that since I didn't purchase directly through them (bought at Amazon) that it would take however long it took, she repeated 8-10 business days. On day 10 I still had not received an email and called, all I was able to get was the company's main voicemail and left a message. Day 11, still no response and called, again I had to leave a message 3 days later and I still have not received ANY communications from AP. I have turned this over to the BBB and Amazon to help. Amazon is accepting my return for refund THANK YOU AMAZON!!! I will highly recommend that you NOT purchase anything from All-Power, check out the BBB before you do I did not and would not have if I had read the past problems others have had. It alerts the user to threats through the audible alert system, but it is hard to remember the different sounds, which is why it is great to be able to visually see what the threat is. The problem with this device is that in the day time, you can not see the screen AT ALL! This new whistler is great!!! The fact that it is cordless makes it universal from car to motorcycle. It's charger works very well when plugged in to a power point for a short time. The XTR-540 lasts a whole week on one charge on my work commute, (approx 12 hours). This is a very powerful light. In fact, the video I have uploaded really does not do the spotlight justice to just how bright this thing is! You may wonder why you would have a need for such a bright light, but it really can come in handy. I have it in case our dog gets lost at night, or if we think there is a potential threat (aka potential intruder) in our yard. However, the light is also a great choice for camping or possibly marine applications.

I bought the Cyclops CYC-S6X to replace a similar unit whose battery had worn out. It works great and is even brighter than the old one. It is so bright that I can identify animals in the tops of trees almost a 1/4 mile away. The batter life is pretty good and the positioners are designed and work well.
This is about as simple as a charger can get. An AC plug in transformer with a voltage select switch and color coded alligator clips at the end of the cord. It charged both of my batteries (6 and 12 volt) without any problems and gets only slightly warm to the touch. The charge rate varied between 400 ma to 40 ma (depending on battery condition) and produces pulsating DC.

This item should be listed as I have, because it will charge only small batteries, (lawn Tractor, or such items) that have loss their charge over a long period, as is common with lead acid batteries.It will maintain batteries that sit idle over the winter, and recharge small like batteries, if the discharge was do to idle periods. If your battery, "dies" after only a few days replace it, as it more than likely has a bad cell(shorted) and you will ruin these chargers, as they will put out the max they can and eventually "burn" up, do to excess heat.They can be used on large batteries that are in good shape,to "Maintain" the charge. I'm not sure what product the other reviewers are referring to. But my charger did not have any instructions or indicator lights. I'm not even sure the thing works. I bought it to recharge a 12 volt sealed lead acid battery for my alarm system. It never charged the battery. There was no indication or instructions or any other way to tell whether there was even power going to the charger. I feel as if I wasted my money and time. I should have just purchased a new battery. Now I have a useless charger and still have to purchase a new battery. Doesn't work. Windows hangs after about 2% of a file is transferred. Tried using audible manager to transfer audiobooks as well, and the same thing happens. Used to work perfectly with my old cable before I lost it. This cable charges my fuze, but I can't put anything new on it with this cable.

All 3 chargers work perfectly and at a low price..however one of the big reasons I bought this was for the data sync cable and it does not do its job my computer can not read it at all.
I'm not going to send this back because of the price and in all fairness it looks well made and I might be able to use it in the future. It has some other end but not a mini USB. It seems to fit the data port(?) It's flatter and wider but won't fit the mini USB.
I bought this item because it was the only such device I'd seen thus far that doesn't require either a magnifying glass or locating some remote marking on the device to figure out what port supports an iPad. Given that both ports of this device are 2.1 amp rated, both USB ports would support an iPad so it would be just a matter of arbitrarily picking a port to plug into and you're good to go. Why this is not the case with most other 12V and AC USB adapters I will never understand. A nice mechanical feature is the flange that would make an excellent grip to remove it from the 12V outlet, assuming a minimum average finger width of length between the flange and the 12V outlet's bezel. So on the surface, this should be an excellent device. Seems, though, that these days the product designers take all too many shortcuts to improve the bottom line. In this case, the overall length of the device is much too short. I have come across a few shallow-well 12V outlets that this may work with, but they are a very rare exception. This would not work with about 99 percent of the 12V outlets that I've used/encountered. With the 12V outlets on my vehicle as well as the multi-port 12V adapters that I have, the flange bottoms out against the outlet's bezel before making electrical contact inside. It was both electronically inoperative and it was very hard to remove due to the lack of a gap between the flange and the outlet bezel. Unfortunately I can't speak to it's electronic abilities since it would not work in my 12V outlets. With some redesign this could be a good product, but for now it goes back to Amazon.

We have been waiting for this tool for several months. We finally found a supplier who had one in stock and bought it. Today, we used it for the first time. For lug nuts, be careful, as this tool has so much torque it might tear off your lug nut. We used a torque stick to be safe. We had been using a DeWalt 18 volt impact, with mostly success. However, this tool is much more powerful. When running it has heft and torque. You must have strong hands and arms and be ready. Great tool.
I own 3 of these units and use them in the most difficult of situations. We own an RV and go camping regularly. Many of the campgrounds do not offer electricity and we must turn our generator off at 9 pm. We use 1 unit to power our 2 computers after quiet hours and it works great. I want to start out by saying that I really love this unit for its jump starting and power source features. The jump starter works exactly as advertised. The 12 volt power source is massive, and lasts forever; I drive a vintage car with a non-operational 12v lighter outlet, and so this thing can sit in there for weeks on end and supply my phone, iPod, or whatever with hardly any drain. I actually bought this because I was going on a four night camping trip to a place without power, and I use a cpap machine when I sleep. If I had bought the dc adapter for my cpap machine, I'm sure that it would have lasted the entire trip. I purchased two of these from Wal-Mart.Since we've been experiencing particularly odd weather, they've been quite handy in the blackouts. The only time they weren't, had to do with the fact I did not charge them. I bought this kit about 3 months ago. Took some time to peace everything together required to install it. First off,the instructions are useless. The power inverter that comes with the kit is useless. It's made to use in your car for a laptop or some other small electronic equipment like a small TV and a light? (maybe) I purchased a Xantrex Prowatt SW1000 and the remote switch from Amazon, WORKS GREAT! The battery tester is another useless piece of junk included in the kit. It's just two diods that light up.(YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT IS PICTURED IN THE KIT). The mounting brackets for the solar panels are really not practical but could be used if you have nothing else and plan on mounting your panels nearly flat on the surface of your roof. But I would not recommend that unless your roof points due South and is at the right pitch for your location. I made a frame out of angle iron that works very well. The charge contoller works,(at least mine did) but it's not the best. (MINIMAL PROFROMACE AT BEST) I would suggest a MPPT charge controller like a Morningstar, Tristar TS-MPPT-45. The panels seem to work very well so far. They do work in low light conditions. I have been able to fully charge four T105 batteries everyday that have 60%-65% of their charge left. But with the Sunforce charge controller it takes all day long in full sun. I have ordered the Tristar 45 and I'm sure I will be able to charge the battery bank in much less time. Just do your homework and you'll find the same answers. Also note that Sunforce customer service is a joke. Simon will tell you all kinds of silly things before he will give you an RMA to return product. My friend bought two kits when I bought mine and he had to return both of the charge controllers as defective right out of the box. It's been over 6 weeks now and nothing. Simon does not answer his emails and they have not returned his charge controllers to date! Also please note that the solar panels IN THIS KIT ARE Polycrystalline and not MONOCRYSTALINE. The discription is really not accurate. It reads "The Sunforce 260 watt crystalline solar kit". It does not tell you anywhere in the add or on their website if the product is Poly or Mono???? Buyer beware.

I was surprised by the quality of the panels upon arrival. Very well built. The ease of installation and overall performance are great!! Makes supplementing grid power a breeze. My only gripe(s) are the picture on Amazon shows a digital test meter for checking solar performance. But it actually came with a dinky LED light with a wire attached for testing! Also read the operation manual for the charge controller at least TWICE. This unit can be a little confusing to understand the display if you don't. I bought these panels to add a little solar backup when power is out and to learn a little. The produce power for 2 Batteries now and I will be adding more later on. I have a Woodworking building and it powers my TV/DVD and a drill and chop saw through a 2000 watt inverter. So far no problems.

I bought this car charger for my iPad mini to use when we went on a driving trip. It only charged my iPad mini a couple times and then completely stopped working. I had to go to an AT&T store to buy a different one. The Sellnet car charger was inexpensive, so I don't know if I will even bother to return it. I read a lot reviews before buying it, and quite a few reviewers were happy with it. Maybe the one I bought was defective.
